Tried playing twice and got "Connection failed Unable to send data to server when disconnected from server" forcing me to refresh and the game wasnt saving any progress.
The mid-level building upgrades are pretty pointless. They are so expensive for what they provide.
Example:
Silk Blankets Inn upgrade would provide me with +100% income for the inn. With 100 Inns, that equals out to 9000 money/sec. It costs 15 Billion.
Why would I save up for that when I can buy nearly any building for a few million at this point and get more money / second?
I definitely assumed my personal level experience would carry over between towns and just reset my town after about 6-7 hours working on it without gaining any investments or managers out of it, completely wasted all that time...... Be warned.
"Hey, you wanna re-release the exact same game that's been made about a dozen times?"
"Heck yeah! My buddy Mike can make 3d girls with boobs, I'll call him up."
More achievements would be cool to see. Something like x number of countries conquered, x number of troops gained, x number of dark nights recruited, and maybe play time achievements.
Bullets are too difficult to see for a ton of reasons. 1 they match the background, 2 they are overlapped by souls, 3 your character is far too big.
I never did fully understand the meat mechanic. It made me bigger (which is a negative), but it seemed to give me a shield, but only sometimes. I thought maybe getting hit in the face bypassed the shield, but that wasn't always the case either...
You took the bullet hell formula and made a few changes, which I encourage, but I don't think it quite worked out that well. Regardless, it was a fun little 2 hour time kill which is just what I was looking for.
3/5.
Please add some sort of protection system if you get attacked a certain amount of times.
Basically, as it stands you can get attacked, have your fleet wiped out, then you become a free target and get attacked non-stop by farmers with no hope of building up a fleet to deter attacks. How am I supposed to stop 100 fighters when I can maybe pump out 5-6 unmanned plats or fighters before the next attack arrives (and I'm getting hit by multiple people)? It's pretty much game over.
It's a good idea actually, we will think how to give more protection for new users. Аlso at this moment уou can research Microwave Curtain and build Undercover Base. This will allow you to hide your fleets from enemy attacks.
It could really use a few more early game quests to help get things going. I'm about 3 hours into it and can't afford any more upgrades or new ships really. I can see the game opening up with a day or two more, but it kinda sucks stalling out like this.
Can't even get the game to start. First time it just sat there doing nothing. Second time the choose your nickname screen came up but the continue button did not work.
Using Chrome. That's enough for me, thanks. 1/5.
it's almost awesome, but the controls feel so sluggish.
Level 90-1 is a good example of why it feels so bad. That level should be easy. In any other game it would've been a one try thing. But it took me like ten tries because of how sloppy the controls are.
Also, falling kills you? Seriously?
Weird, it wouldn't let me load my character. I would click load and nothing would happen and it wouldn't let me click it again. So I clicked load, and with the load button disabled I made a new character.
On this character I had all my gear and skills from my old character but none of the equipment was contributing to my stats so I had to unequip then re-equip them and it was fine. Very buggy.
i restarted my browser and I am unable to load my game back up!
I get to the character select screen, click load and the load icon highlights as though I've selected it but nothing happens.
If I hover the mouse over the delete button it flashes so I know the game hasn't frozen, it just does not get past that screen. I can also type names into the other fields. I've tried restarting my browser, and reloading the page (I use Chrome)
The titles are very unbalanced. "The Warlord" is obtained very early and I would have a hard time choosing most of the much more difficult to obtain titles over that one.
Overall it's a fun concept though. 4/5
Fights take way too long, overall progression is bad, graphics are meh, and music is unfitting in most places.
Good concept though. I'd recommend a bit of an overhaul at least in terms of how the game progresses. 2/5.
Nearly got to the end and got "your items are being inspected for safety, you won't be able to produce items for three days".
...Yeah, im close to the end and my daily expense is 3 million. You just took away my revenue for three straight days. Instant game over, especially when raiding a city only gets about 15,000.
+ this to warn people. I'm definitely not playing through again. Decently fun game though, 4/5.
I went to move a creature, and the little red orb was hovering about a half inch away from my cursor (usually it's right under it). Now it won't let me move the creature, and none of the buttons on the side work because the game is waiting for me to pick a spot to move the creature. I've clicked all over my map and it won't do anything. I can't even refresh and re-load because there's no save feature. What a waste of a half hour.. 1/5
Game was way too easy at first (saved up for shotgun, then was able to use that all the way up to the mini-gun). Then it got way too hard, and laggy. At one point I lost control of my character for a few seconds after I got out of the level up screen.
Could be fun, just needs tweaking. I recommend turning it into waves rather than a continuous horde. This way you can put in bosses and vary it up a bit.
Please give me next info: browser version, operation system and your location.
