Can we get a hotkey to use the knife? I loved the entire game but there were so many moments it would have been /wonderful/ to just slash out a knife, but hitting one, slashing, hitting 8 is too finnicky to keep the bananawesome train rolling.
2/5 Fun enough game, but I REALLY don't approve of the artificually induced difficulty of not being able to dodge attacks, and being completely unable to lead targets.
My apologies TurboNuke, I should have been more specific. There is actually about 30 minutes of gameplay. Long enough to play through the two courses. The two or more HOURS are not content, and are not interesting, it's just a meaningless grind to pick up new gear that really doesn't affect your gameplay in a significant way. Grinding for better items does not equal gameplay; which is the point I was trying to get across.
2/5, I don't know what happened Vitaly, but this game sucks, it's terrible and simply crap compared to the other EW titles. They were great for a reason, and you've just made an entirely different game and called it EW5.
only given two stars because it -is- a fairly good game, with an ass-load of bugs (it's GOOD all my guys die in seconds, because it lags like a bitch until then)
Cheesemeister, there are two ball things. One's metre is empty when you see it, the other is full. Drill over to and into the full one -without- lowering it to get the strange gloop. abby matter is in the empty one, it fills up a little for every surrounding block you drill away, if you -don't- drill within it's range for a few seconds it starts to drop again. Abby matter can't always be collected like this because sometimes there's too many spaces or hard rock. Dynamite ALWAYS works, stick it next to the block and move out of the way. The only way you're getting nothing is if your inventory is full.
Ace job, though some points need tweaking a little, it took -ages- to get the next cooling upgrade, and it turned out the reason was I needed to collect titanium, which could ONLY be collected below 100ft, and I could only GET under 100ft on the current cooling system on a frozen world, which was -very- rarely over 50ft.
nice game, but feels unfinished, nice feel and look, but the menus are very brief, there's no indication what the other weapons do...why should I bother buying Homing missle instead of lancer? they cost the same to start. The AI is almost nonexistent especially.
Fix these things and it's definately a steam game I'd buy
