Yeah tier parts are... kinda useless right now, i've been farming parts, practically all of my characters have at least 2 parts in their tiers unlocked, yet nothing has changed... i believe it's probably another thing that the devs will add later on... shame
Hi! Thank you for playing the game!
Tiers indeed have an impact over characters stats once you upgrade it. But the system will change a little bit in future versions, so they feel better.

Gotta say, i dont know why i returned to this game... can you actually advance enough if you're f2p? No, not really... though, if you grind enough Kreds and buy one of the smaller deals you might... i finally hit about 6k power on my team, rank 16 btw
Guys if you get stuck at the leaderboard tutorial i found out how to advance from there! you have to scroll through the list until you see a chest and press it, then and only then you will be able to end this part of the tutorial
So they still havent fixed the leaderboard freeze? shame, also sucks that chests dont open at the same time... honestly it seems like a bad game with so many problems in it and mechanics that don't favor it, like the upgrade system making no sense... if i upgraded my T2 helmet it would end up getting no buffs... what?
It's somewhat fun and all, but the fact that every single turn its more like everyone vs you instead of an everyone vs everyone kinda sucks... I would love to be able to breathe without having my kingdom getting fillet like a fish
On another note, devs really should improve the upgrading system... Right now, going from ore to gem and from gem to only PERCENT chance is really boring and counter productive... if anything please greatly increase either ore drops, perhaps also guarantee them or get rid of ores entirely and skip straight to gem drops. And a warehouse building would be an amazing addition to the buildings cause that limited inventory is wack... especially with the already lacking item quality (cause item with high requirements don't mean higher stats... what?).
For those getting into the game that want help building a character, the best stat to upgrade is Vitality, then a small investment in magic power (about 5) will cover for a good while, this works on ALL builds.
For Sword a good spread is about 5 magic & melee to start, rest in Vitality.
For Bow its ok to actually put all on ranged since it increases accuracy. Bow itself shouldn't be fighting melee, unless you really need to then invest on vitality.
For Staff 5 magic and the rest in vitality cause it increases character's survivability, allowing for the special effects to proc for longer.
For a swiss army character, 5 melee 5 ranged 5 magic and rest in vitality will cover for it. Keep in mind that if better equipment requires a higher level in any of the areas, you'll need to invest accordingly. Probably best to make a build like this after your 2nd (if you're comfortable) or 3rd character made. By then you should have a lot of Hero Cards to instantly rank up your character.
man there seriously needs to be a better balancing of stats and tiers to be found... it doesn't help much that the building milestones are so huge either...
Honestly why does ranged have to be so bad? first there's the fact that the attack speed is slower than a melee fighter's and second, there's the hit chance. The balancing on enemies is also terrible, and percentages that are lower tend to proc more than higher percentages, it's been like 10 times in a row now i get 2X hit by an enemy with about 10% 2X dmg chance, yet my 69.1% chance stun doesn't activate once...
