Hard badge wasn't as tough as I thought it would be. Had all upgrades except Salvation, used Rocket Launcher and Napalm Wave, crash the car at the start of the wave into as many buildings as you can. Need to build up your team quickly. Take out Helicopters and tanks with Napalm wave as often as possible. Feels like the tanks and copters get a little bit tougher to gun down when you get to distances past 2000 but that could be because there are plenty of enemies to keep your rockets busy.
The most difficulty will be keeping your troops alive while getting multiple airstrikes + copter + tank sections, just concentrate on avoiding the airstrikes and keeping the troops alive!
Like that you should get to distances > 3000 without too much trouble, as long as you don't walk yourself into anything.
Loved it, all the way to the hard badge. Solid gameplay, good fun and well polished. A game to be proud of.
For anyone that is interested I found Natalie was the only character that let me get far enough through as her bomb, if well enough timed, can take out three waves of enemies.
Was fun, solid controls and simple gameplay. Hard badge took some time; game could have even been in two parts since it was so long! Enjoyed it all and it passed the time well.
Just made it for the hard badge after 2 runs to the 14th floor. Golem Explorer build. From the start I put everything into strg and stam. This challenge seems to be more about patience than anything else, peeling off the enemies one at a time you shouldn't die, death usually came down to taking on 3+ enemies at once. I chose equip with res over anything else, with a preference to ice and fire than elec (never poison). There were times when I had to switch to higher elec res equipment but those times were rare. You pretty much have to clear every single room for the xp, by the time I hit floor 15 the golem was lvl 20, with everything in strg and stam (last 2-3 floors more in stam). It's probably a good idea not to try and clear everything on floor 13 and 14, enemies here are pretty strong, unless you have ice res above 100 it will be easier to find the quickest path to the boss and get through. I found that a weapon that has 25-30dmg was better than a weapon that has 15-20dmg +10 str.
Really enjoyed it,
fast paced with simple controls is always a winner with me. Hope to have the privilege of playing more games from the same creative mind.
@Krystar, easiest way is in Darwin mode, as soon as a king is about to appear teleport to right of the screen, "attack jump" that's a two hit combo then keep stun attacking the king while he is off the right of the screen till you make a x20 combo, then a stamp attack and charge attack to your left [to hit some of the archers that have no doubt collected]. That's the easiest way.
