Tbh I find the mongols pretty easy to play I almost got to the end of the game at normal difficulty (year 50). Start: Keep on buying peasants until u reach max pop (5) then try to get a cowshed and wait and get a knight. when fighting use 2 milltia vs 1. Since Mongols gain gold from battle it is very easy to build up ur economy. Later u can use the money to get church (I had 4) and also lumber mill (I had 2 or sometimes 3).
To Smer4: At very hard mode, you can buy a swordsman + 1 milltiaman. I don't suppose u know milltiaman can fight too? so 1 swordsman +1 milltiaman beats 3 milltiaman and u still have 1 person working which gives u 100 gold
some basic info about early battling results: 1vs1 milltaryman (player always lose except if you're playing as Chinese) (this goes for 2vs2, 3vs3 and so on) 2vs1 milltaryman player wins wih 0 deaths, 3 vs 2 milltaryman player wins with 0 deaths, 4 vs 3 milltary man player wins with 2 deaths. 3milltaryman vs 1 swordsman player wins with 2 deaths. 1vs1 swordsman player loses, 1 knight vs 3milltaryman player wins with 0 deaths. 1 knight vs 2 swordsman players loses, 1knight +1 milltaryman vs 2 swordsman player loses. 2knights vs 2 swordsman player wins with 0 deaths. 2 knights vs 3 swordsman player loses.
@exarot But won't putting your money in conquering more beneficial? After u conquer Touria u get the 5x conquer bonus which increases your DK multilplier which indirectly increases your income. The cost of conquering is way less than buying 1 extra market or cathedral for like 10 trillion.....
maybe its better to indicate what turn u are really in right now and how many turns you have to beat the game. I was SHOCKED when I see 10 more turns left before the end of the game and I was still half way to the Pyramids.
For me, this is not surprising because when u change dynasties, u first need to convert the "good" dynasty bonus back to normal (regular levels). This means u first loses the +40% culture bonus. And later u add the "bad dynasty" bonus which is -50% strength. This also works vice versa. When u go from a "bad dynasty" to a "good dynasty". You first loses your "bad" bonus and go back to normal, so you have+50% strength back. Then u "gain" a good bonus which is another +X%. So you think you "gain" +50% strength but in fact you are just having it go back to normal levels.
I like this game very much. However there are some things I just want to clarify. When u go on a war with another tribe, what things do u actually get? All I see is that my danger bar goes skyrocketed and after "10 turns" It just says that the war is over......
someone tell me how to beat the fountain of youth monster.... 4000hp... man... I got my ship fully upgraded to 750 hp... but its attack is like 130ish per turn
I use magic attack to kill the skull.. hold A key when the blue bar is full and release it.. while the skull is away from my attack range, I just spam hit tombstones to get exp...
