They always work as test subjects: each known system grants a 3% boost to your science. They never directly help in that no system generates its own science. Large enough wealth structures will harvest a little science out of the local population but nothing compared to what you can do on your own.
A really fun mechanic might be to be able to devote your new active truth to either wealth, science, vision, identiy, or joy when you unfold a new universe.
Couple things, first: I love it! 2nd Identity is a real land hog, the easiest fix might just be to reduce the schools needed for library. 3rd vision is a real bottle neck. Maybe reduce the cost increase or better yet have truth affect it somewhat?
When I load, all my fuel, energy, money, etc is at 0 and I have a dead screen, no stations or asteriods or anything. I dont even see my ship.
Loved it when I was playing it though.
Ive got hundreds of car batteries and thousands of copper wire, I would really love to be able to electrify my barricades, even if I had to build another windmill and battery array to power it.
Yeah, material kits are totally needed, I didn't make too many potions but at end game when I have the recipes I cant make potions because I cant get any water!
You can use arrow keys to select an enemy if the mouse feels too unresponsive. :)
