Hah~ If they just let the game die why not make it open-source. I'm sure a lot of people (like me) would like to contribute such as fixing bugs and glitches.
Actually the BG works by this --- 20-30;25-35;30-40;-35-45; and so on. As you can see, if you are lvl35. You can either be the strongest or the weakest depending on where the system places you in. So its really fair.
Well Level 23 is beatable in 5 seconds less regardless of difficulty. Warp to the enemy when they are about to warp themselves. You could get at least 3 kills with no loss in yours. Now just kill them like that.
For 33, move all ships to the Warp. Wait till Orange leave the Spaceport. Warp to Orange spaceport and take it over. Retake any planets taken by Orange. Move all ships to Warp. Warp to Red spaceport and take it over. Black will appear, retake planets near the spaceport from the Blacks. Move again atleast 200 ships in Warp. Warp to the other Green Warp and take it over before the Black can. Easy win from here on.
I would suggest that, ships should not be able fly past enemy planets and if two fleet meet halfway between flights they should fight right there and just either to flee back to the planet or not.
STORY: At Level 32, the Blue accidentally released an unspeakable evil! This evil will takeover the minds of every pilot in the ship turning them to black. The Red knew about this which is why they never try to capture the Evil which the Silver try to defend but they still kill them anyway. Nobody knew about this event, but after 3 battle the 4 factions got tired of this Black ships that they went back to the place where Level 32 battle occurred but they discovered that the Evil can also convert everything in the galaxy to its respective color! Even though they knew about the danger of the Black ships the 4 factions still try to kill each other inorder to grab that power. Those events bring us to Level 36.
Alright, even though the AI is aggressive it still has no tactical knowledge. Also there is strength in numbers 100 will wipe out 20 with very small losses like 1 or 2. Given that, always chase the enemies largest fleet with your largest fleet.
