OK just tried to play and instantly died twice. Threw one punch and that was it. The entire screen moves when I try to aim at someone. This sort of motion makes me barfy. Also seemed very laggy for me. Had to shrink it to 80% to get it all on the screen too. Not loving this one.
I am just trying to play this enough to get the two badges. I am confused about a couple of things. 1: I have two revive potions and a couple of minor healing potions. I tried to use them but was told no one needed them at that time. I was dying and ultimately did die. I tried to get my pet to use the revive potion on me and it wouldn't even show up just the healing potions and it still wouldn't let me use that on my character. How do you use the potions? I did manage to get my pet to use one on himself but it was already too late since he was alone against 3 enemies. How do you use a revive potion in battle or can you use one perhaps is the right question.
Seems to be mostly luck. You must get your gold mines out in the first hand layout or you are screwed. Not nearly as fun as it could be if there was less demand for the elusive gold mines.
The exact sweet spot for a button to count is so tiny I can't hit it. I suck so hard at this and all the Guitar Maniac games I am very glad the Kongpanion doesn't require all the days to get it.
Excellent little puzzle game. Simple concept but enough thought to make it interesting. Didn't bore me or make me swear. No need to hunt for a walkthrough. More levels please. :)
I really liked this game...right up to the point where I had completed 16 levels and could not get the necessary combination tiles for level 17. I am not starting over and going for the hard badge. This game needs save points. I would not mind redoing that one level I failed at. I wouldn't even mind starting that segment of the circle again. But I won't redo the whole game knowing that one failed level forces a restart.
Animations are SLOW and really add nothing to the battles. The LAG is horrible and gets progressively worse as the game goes on. As others have mentioned this is a common issue with games by this developer. I like the concepts of their games. If they could get someone to help figure out the lag issue that keeps growing and fix that in their games I would love to go back and play them. Strike force kitty 1 and 2 were excellent except for the lag. This one needs more gold in the chests. Not enough gold to get the upgrades needed. Other than the slow animations, lag and a little more gold the game is pretty good.
Just encountered an interesting malfunction. On the second floor, I was finishing a battle and got a level up. The level up continued to repeat over and over. I kept making the choices to spend my 4 points. I could hear loot dropping as well. After about 14 levels up I finally decided to click the ground and walk away from the loop. Suddenly there was a ton of loot in a nice square just piled up on top of itself. I spent about half an hour picking up loot until it hung and then went through loot discarding the trash. Click the ground away from the pile and then going back. Now I am about to drop down into level 3 with a much improved combatant. Not sure if it makes a difference but I am a Golem Wanderer on firefox, windows 7. :)
Day 49... made massive upgrades to all systems. Maneuverability still sucks. Visibility still sucks. Still run out of fuel very quickly. Barely able to make one little upgrade a day. Do not believe I will ever reach the core. Might just ram mines until we are all dead just to stop the monotony of the daily drilling and missing all the goodies by just millimeters.
Would be nice if Entangle did NOT make me run up to the thing I just made stand still. Very fun game. I play on an old version of firefox and have to load the game at 80% zoom then once inside go to 100%. Still can't read the right half of the damage dialog.
Level 37: "It's not impossible" Me: Bull sh*t! *goes to see how I am supposed to take out 4 dudes straddling a bomb without blowing up the 3 dudes right under that bomb*
I can't get enough speed to get the headphones off. Trying to hold the mouse button down for so long while moving the mouse around is a real pain. Very frustrating.
Too many precision jumps with way too many red blocks moving closer and closer. All while trying to not hit the spikes that surround me. Sort of sucks to play this. Meanwhile getting called names doesn't make it any more fun.
Had to use a walkthrough. The clue to get the password made no sense to me even after seeing the walkthrough. I don't understand why the first key didn't work. Whole game was lacking intuitive puzzling. In general that was 16 minutes of my life I can never get back. 1 star.
