lvl 45:
1. get all the neutrals and upgrade them
2. capture upper wizard tower
3. send all your units to wizard tower
4. make the upper defend tower neutral
5. wait till ~300 and send them to the boss
6. as soon as you have the boss, its a piece of cake

Build one Waste Spewer and then mass Flaks. But upgrade them, before you build another one. The flamethrower is very useful, too. But it can only attack ground units.
I only used Waste Spewer, Flak and Flamethrower in all later lvls
Tip for lvl 19: dont try to fight. it's possible to win this way, but its difficult. just avoid any fights and build your isle around the green player. use the waypoints and when you are at the upper corner of the map, cut the way to ur startposition, so the enemies fight each other and not you.
when you see a pedobear or the other heroes, try to drown them. it the easiest way to kill them.

Dont change the amount of tiles you can rise or sink. There are some quick ways to make a nice, big isle with the current setting.
And whirlpool is overpowered. If you are lucky enough, you can kill an enemy in the first minute. Maybe increase the costs or decrease the time of one whirlpool.
Is it possible to attack a specific color? It would be helpful for some levels.
Maybe you could add an option with an hotkey, that every tile gets an number for his elevation. Sometimes it's difficult to see, if one tile is higher or lower.

follow cursor mode is much harder. for me it's like having a delay...
wasd control is better. but very sensitiv to the sensitivity^^... at slow speed, u can fly more stable and accurate with this control, but at higher speed it gets difficult for me, because i cannot react fast enough with the keyboard... so normal mouse-control is the best one... only a joystick would be better... :D
you are the best developer on kong... your uber fast responses are motivating me to think about ideas to improve this game :P
soo... how about.... a little counter in the corner, which shows, how much faster u have to be, to get the first rank or just the score of the first rank....
or... some backgroundmusic ( looped rocky-theme would be awesome xD)
or... for the obstacles: a plate with two big holes and another plate behind moving from left to right, so by closing on hole, the other one opens...
or... i dont know.. have to think more :D
I've got some cool ideas for showing where you are in the rankings, so I wanna try those out for myself first, but I've noted your suggestion anyway! I don't want to seem like I'm shutting off all your ideas but while I like the idea of your obstacle but I'm trying to make it so there aren't any nasty surprises or tricks :)
maybe two highscores?... so one all-time-highscore ( top 100 ) and one day-highscore ( unlimited ranks )... would be a nice motivation to get at least at the day-highscore a good rank :D
I need to work on WASD I think, make it a bit snappier :)
