Can we have a character that can break down items into their ingredients for a fee, and maybe sometimes 'scavenge' items from low level areas for free? (Have them generate random ingredients the same way other characters generate corn, gold & pearls over time.)
Perhaps a Magpie would be an appropriate bird for the job.
There should be an option to 'clear out corpses' so walking zombies don't camouflage among the completely dead ones. Also maybe an 'anti camouflage option' to fling paint around the trees of your base so the far off zombies can't camouflage with the background so easily. (Both should cost time obviously.)
Why are giant mutant eyeball spiders who feed on pollution called 'zombies'? Even the characters aren't sure 'where they came from or what they are' or whether or not they 'fused with raiders' (assimilated them like 'the thing') or infected the raiders.... Wouldn't it make more sense to just call the things 'mutants' or something?
Anybody else think there should be some kind of reward for PVP? (a little bit of exp would be nice, perhaps items, coupons or even DNA points for winning against higher level players) Or an option for randomized PVP battles for anybody who can't be bothered to go looking for the ID tags of other people's monsters?
It would also be nice if we could scroll our view around the maps using the up, down, left and right keys, especially at the base building thing. (A mini map showing explored areas and allowing us to quickly select what part of the map we're viewing would also be good!)
Oops never mind.
The icon with the 3 people in the upper left corner will let you select and move everyone at once (formation seems random though). pressing 1, 2 , 3 and 4 will let you hotkey select individual people (you can also click the individual icons for people at the top of the screen to select them).
It would have been nice if the tutorial actually pointed any of that out, otherwise I wouldn't have spent 20 minutes of the game awkwardly flinging around individual survivors by inefficiently clicking their actual character models.
You know what would be great?
Being able to hotkey select survivors for quicker selection (just hotkey them to numbers for the sake of simplicity).
Also a 'select all' and some sort of "auto-formation' feature to move everybody at once (maybe have a 'formation builder' function so we can set our own default formations to whatever suits us)
Hard to find blue prints? Take the "dead end" paths, they're usually at the very end.
Also quickest way to win a siege, aim your catapults (and dragon) at the castle itself, and ignore all the units. Your melee units are just meat shields for your ranged dudes.
Also, do the demonic skill tree first, it comes with healing moves that do damage at the same time and silencing makes things so much easier.
(Disease will let you silence and curse at the same time)
Once you've got that, increase your critical damage so the "Reaper" has a better chance of insta-killing
