Ok, I got what you said about doing a tailslide by approaching the surface of the water as parellel to it as possible, however, I still am not jumping very high out of it, it's a decent height, but it's much much lower than if I were to just normally swim straight up out of the water. As far as what you say about the starslide speed, I have had a 25+ multiplier and very high velocity, and I barely go anywhere while I am starsliding, and in fact, slow down extremely fast in addition to getting zero height increase jumping out of it. Are there other minor things that may affect the gameplay from functioning how you say it should work, such as quality level, processor speed, etc.? Thanks.
Can anyone who can type good proper english please explain the whole tailslide/starslide thing to me in full detail please? Every time I attempt to do either, I hit the UP key as fast as I can after starting the tailslide/starslide, and I only jump up about an inch, and then just fall into the water on my back or if it's a starslide, back down to earth back-first, though I have time to straighten out for a good entry there. Why might this be happening? I've read a good number of the posts on here to verify that I am attempting to perform this trick correctly, so I am absolutely sure I am doing what I apparently supposed to.
