Yeah, the main concern I have is that things that say they take "0 seconds" don't actually take 0 seconds. Really simple example is the hotel, where guests are arriving at a rate of less than 5 every second, which basically means anything above that 2nd to the top tier of rooms is not going to be used.
Which means money gets wasted, but also means that not as much money is being made as could be made, which kind of invalidates the game. :/
Barring that, I like the progression, and it feels like a decent idle game.
There are issues with glitching. As in, I get lag.
Which I don't really understand. I'd love this game, if it weren't for the lag whenever the graphics get too intensive.
Like the boss fight on level 30.
Can't beat it, because suddenly it takes 5 seconds for my key hits to register.
Overall there are a lot of glitches and it's not very clean. There's a lot of lagging, especially on the larger fights, and I've recently run into a white-screen glitch whenever I die.
Fix these and it's a 5. Until then it sits at a 2. I'd love the game if it were not for the details.
I'm starting to really appreciate what you're doing with such simple graphics. This is also a fabulous game. I'd appreciate a means of skipping the death animation, because that is a long cutscene.
thank you! 5 stars and favourited
Wow, I liked level 60 too. That was really really nice.
Thank you for making such a great game. I really enjoyed playing, and the credits were well constructed too.
All in all, I liked your oldschool-gaming style of teaching the player the controls through their own experimentation. That, plus the creative combination of the different means of interaction made for an incredibly fun game. A+++
I love it. The music at the end was beautiful, the control system felt very natural, the ending was well executed, and the checkpoints were really cool.
I really liked this game.
Okay, I love this game, it'd be great if you expanded it to other platforms, but...
4uck!
Fix the stupid getting-rocks-stuck-in-the-wall glitch. It's the single consistent problem that is lowering my rating of this game every minute I play. I draw a wall, the rock gets stuck in the wall, and then falls.
Every time.
Man, fantastic game. I enjoyed playing it, there were times when I worried I wouldn't make it through a level, but I always did. I'd suggest a bit more difficulty, but other than that, excellent play through. I'll try going rogue this time, see how it goes.
5/5
Something I enjoyed about this game was that if I wanted to rack up dough from courier missions, I could just get a sprinter at some port and autopilot it. I didn't really need hyperdrive until the ridiculously long missions.
Huh, interestingly enough, I didn't really have much difficulty with the rollers. I find it intriguing that some rate a game down because it's a challenge, rather than for performance or for quality.... Then again, I'm giving it 4/5 for being a tad repetitive. But other than that, I loved it. The ricocheting effect allows for a bit of wiggle room in later levels, and the beginning is just easy enough to get your ammo up for later levels. I'd hope for a sequel involving perhaps...weapon upgrades? I am unsure. But I can see there being...another game...
Asking you to ++ this would be cheap, but I'm still doing it. :P
I am having the same problem as isbird. I have completed module 2 repeatedly, even from the beginning, connection's green, it SHOULD work, but I'm not getting the challenge.
