I found a useful glitch: at some point when you're around level 20 or something (could be earlier too, I don't know) you go back to the screen below the first city with the 4 allies, you do a Shield Bash on each of them (otherwise the strike will be too hard and you'll kill them with one shot), wait for a sec and they start beating you, but their attack is in fact so weak, they do (in my case at least) "-8 damage" which means you gain 8 hp on every hit, and the best part is that it can go to unlimited lengths (for example 10 000/949 hp). It goes back to normal when you level up though, but it's still very useful.
The impossible badge is not really that hard at all, at least for the last 2 campaigns. The very final boss is just holding down button 3 for 20 minutes straight. But I did it and I'm happy so no complaints, other than that the game is VERY repetetive. 4 stars for making it work so well.
I convinced the game by asking "Should I rate this game 1 star?". At first it said "I can not answer that question", I clicked again and it said "No", clicked once more and it gave in and said "Absolutely".
Tip for getting through the first boss on elite campaign: get as many structures as possible and have at least 5 of them ready BEFORE the last wave. The boss runs out of ammo bombing all the structures and has to make another round. You'll get a ton of broken buildings that way but I couldn't make it any other way.
I'm really impressed with the level of improvement since BTD2. I actually had a great time playing through this game and got all the badges without frustration. Good job making the game, hope the next one is going to be as good! 5 stars.
Without Google Maps I barely got to level 8 with days of hard work, then I couldn't take it anymore and I had to "cheat", which isn't easy as you have to be really quick with Googling the places names on the last few levels. Sorry, I really tried my best! 4 stars for the fun times and well made game. Few typos here and there but whatcha gonna do.
Well, now that I finished it, I'm going to give it 3 stars but no more because of the confusing logic behind 2 simultaneous anomalies and several glitches where you fall through the ground.
It's not boring, it takes like 10 minutes to get the badge you spoiled brats. I gave it 3 stars as I like it. Tip: if you're playing it with the easy difficulty, it takes more than 15 days to reach the 100k!
7th phase (the snake again): keep going around in BIG circles to avoid the blasts (tip: the snake comes back from the direction it left off on phase 6), also make sure you don't stop on the sides in this phase, 8th phase (red cannons and squeezers): do the v-shape movement but in the middle of the screen just activating the squeezer in the very middle, mostly keeping your eye on the squeezers themselves (this requires some luck but it's the best I can do to help you out), you can also do an x-shape movement if it's not too confusing to you - I think the pattern here is 3 shots from up, 3 from down, 3 from up... good luck, hope this helps someone because I got a huge headache from this game and I don't want others to go through that, too. ^^
4th phase (yellow cannons): there's not much help I can give with this, other than keep yourself pretty high and move slowly from side to side, keep an eye on the balls falling from outside the screen (one way to do it is to stay down behind the cannon itself all the time and dodge all the falling balls), 5th phase (green cannon): on every shot, start from the left or the right and do one full round (a BIG one, to avoid the blasts) and keep going one half a round after it (so 1½ rounds on every shot, always stopping on left and then right, then left again...), 6th phase (the snake): go around in big circles, no need to hurry.
Ok so here's a little walkthrough to possibly save some of pain for some: 1st phase (red cannons): go slowly from side to side on the bottom of the screen, 2nd phase (the squeezers): do a little v-shape movement on the bottom of the screen, always activating the bottom squeezer (look only to your left or right to see if you accidentally activate another one, otherwise you're screwed), 3rd phase (squeezers + red cannons): just keep doing the little v-shape thing and always look to the left or right (this way there's maybe 2% chance of hitting the red balls if you're not looking at them but once you master it, it's actually very easy!)
