My energy production suddenly flickers between around what i think should be the actual value and 1000 less than that value (which I suspect because I don't think I ever bought enough stuff to make -900 energy). It stops temporarily if switch to some other tab, but then it keeps on flickering.

This game is the basis for Plague, a Game of the Year winner. They do attribute this game as their inspiration on their website. It is a different, private company that produces Plague. There are a few differences between the games too.
it would be nice to have an undo button, for when you spend all of your money to buy 50 expensive upgrades, then run out of money without getting a bonus and realizing you really need to buy 100 upgrades.
If you time it right with the lizard, you can fly a considerable distance through the outside of the course without falling, then fly back in near the end. You just have to make sure you are not going too fast up or down.
