I've noticed a few things.
1. I used a 4* Smite and the damage is sometimes reduced by units with Armor 2 or 4, I happened twice already on a lizard.
2. When an ally puts a unit that gives a certain buff, and you placed a unit simultaneously; your unit won't gain that buff.

Aside from the top comments, I also have a problem cancelling my last action. Like when I wanted to build something, but one of my buildings needed repair; I couldn't click my current buildings because my action is kinda locked to making another tower.
