Enjoying the game thus far; but giving the game significantly longer idling requirements to advance is not a substitute for adding in new content~
Still have high hopes for this game!
The exp curve is now longer to counterbalance the fact that you can create more powerful builds with the new skillbooks & equipment. Actually the exp curve has always been in the game, but it was disabled by a bug (if you still somehow have access to old code you could just check it - the code is the same, I just switched around two if statements). I left it disabled in the original build since I realized that the builds you could make with the old number of items weren't strong enough to support such a slow leveling curve. But I think this is now different. Keep in mind though that the XP curve in particular will receive tons of adjustments over the development of the game, both as I notice that it just isn't as good as it could be, and as I add new items and other progression mechanics into the game (like being able to equip more than one item by buying additional equipment slots, or farming buffs from special enemies to prepare yourself for raids).
Love this game, however, I think it's odd how "poison on successful attacks" creatures don't poison the monsters that they attack. It's not a big mistake though. :P
