easy way to beat trial 4 (undead beast):
Get some strong units: black dragon, golems, etc.
use the skill shield and/or regen until your strong units overlap/ have passed the beast.
Build some altars behind the beast to heal your strong units.
The beast never attacks backwards, so you can just keep him in one place until he eventually dies.
