Styl, my answer: Play it again! But seriously, you didn't mention, have you played the impossible mode (and perhaps different sizes of the town)? And if so, how about playing Rebuild's (the original version) nightmare mode, which is all the harder. That should keep you busy for awhile....
You can turn the music off. While in the game, on the upper left, click the wheel shape with the note over it; then click music. (This is also where you can quit your game.)
Katie, RBE means Red Bloon Equivalent. When you start a round, it will list the value for that round. For example, the first round has 20 red bloons, so it lists 20 RBE. But lets say that another round has 20 blue bloons. Since each blue bloon has a red bloon inside it, each blue bloon has the value of two red bloons, so those 20 blue bloons have a value of 40 RBE....
Del, if this is your first attempt at playing the game, just use your arrow keys to move the truck (or you can use your mouse by clicking where you wish to go). If you have already been playing the game and know how to move the truck and suddenly this time the truck doesn't move, rather as though it were frozen, well that has happened to me a couple times. You have two choices which I noticed. The first is to click End Day and not collect anything. The second is to back out of the game and re-enter. If you have much invested in the demolition, you might want to choose the second option. I believe that if you back out, that the day (demolition) hasn't happened; the game only auto saves after the end of a day.
Tankofnova, the difference that you noticed, is sort of similar to the additional difficulty for Impossible. Let's put it this way though: If you are finding the Seriously Hard mode, as seriously hard to beat, you will likely find the Impossible mode, to be impossible to win, UNTIL you adjust your strategy. So think on how you can improve. One suggestion is outside squares are easier to defend, especially corners. But that won't be all you need. Another suggestion is to make sure to have LOTS of farms. I also like having lots of living quarters, so that I can have plenty of people, but I know that plenty of individuals play with less people, so that may be a preference. But this is only a part of the story. You will need to play and attempt varied strategies to be able to improve. (For now, you might want to try improving via Seriously Hard.) Once you beat Impossible though, if you want to try something even harder, try the original Rebuild on Nightmare mode!
Joshua, you must be deleting your cookies for the game. This happens to me if I delete my cookies. Now I use CCleaner instead of Windows' Disk Cleanup. After I found where my games' cookies are stored, I simply went to CCleaner's Options, Exclude, then clicked Add, to exclude that area. However, that does mean that unless I were to sometimes remove the exclusion to clean those cookies (then later put it back on again), that I need to individually go through and delete cookies that I do not want from that area. (This is what I choose to do as I normally have multiple games at a time with saves on them). Deleting cookies is the only reason I have ever lost saves for this game, so I anticipate that this information will help you. Hopefully you can now enjoy this game again. :)
Quackadoodle, to be able to use ammo in this game, you need to first make sure it is on your person. There are two ways to accomplish this. If you already have the weapon on your person, you can click Caravan, and on the Main page, click Distribute Ammo. If not, you will need to click Caravan and on the 2nd page (People), after clicking on the desired person (and giving [him] a weapon), click on ammo, then click Give, and choose how much you would like to give, then click this Give. And voila, you now have ammo. I hope you enjoy the game. :)
For those having difficulty seeing the whole game screen, exit to your prior page, then adjust your zoom before reentering. (For some reason, adjusting zoom while in this game doesn't work. And yes, if you are in the middle of a game, since you would have to start over regardless, you might as well at least get yourself killed first so that you can unlock a title. Backing out of the game is what I have to do when using my Opera, if I happened to have entered with my zoom incorrect. I have checked, and I do notice though that it seems to self-adjust on Chrome. So some browsers do not have this problem.)
Thanks Tuo for the idea. I tried your version (to the point where I'm ready to leave the three towns). Minus that I would ordinarily shoot the bandits a couple times first, the rest of the battle was how I normally play it (because I saved ammo and liked walking my character anyways), so it wasn't a whole lot different than my standard. It did take a bit of coaxing starting right out of the first town to attack enough bandits to get a healthy supply of money, but once I did that, it was easy sailing. In fact, besides that start, with just taking my normal two turns around, I easily have the amount of money that I ordinarily would. I just don't know that I would prefer to never have a storyline. I usually avoid visiting the guy in Drushlak until I am ready to complete the entire game, but this may be tooooo long a delay.... lol. So odds are, that even if I start Caravaneer like this again, that I will eventually start the storyline.
So you don't play the storyline at all.… I had never thought of avoiding doing such. Though one of my favorite parts is making lots of money, so when reading your comment, I initially thought, why not take the money.... But indeed, sometimes I'll try harder things similar to that ilk. The last ones I can remember accomplishing was playing Enchanted Cave without using any Wings and also not using experienced players on Rebuild 2's Impossible mode. Of course, all the TD games I have played, I have never allowed anything through, or I would immediately start over. So maybe I'll try skipping the storyline on Caravaneer one day, as that sounds interesting. (But I will not recommend that for a novice player, lol.) [Incidentally, just because you play a game harder than necessary, doesn't make you crazy … and you are certainly not alone. :)]
EeYow, I have no knowledge about importing and exporting. Maybe you used a USB flash drive??? Referring to the last part of your question, the game saves automatically on your computer. When done playing, I click Menu to exit, but regardless, the game saves.
Without more info, I am not exactly sure to what you are referring to. Are you referring to the Achievements' HighScores? (Deleting cookies do not remove those scores.) And are you referring to an All-Time high score? If so, did you hack your score? (Hacking isn't allowed on this site and those scores will be removed.) Before you get upset at that being mentioned, my belief is that odds are though that you are referring to something like the Today or This Week score. Realize that those scores are reset each day and each start of each week, respectively. Check out your score under the Friends tab, is it there? Also, people have been complaining lately of their Ranks being lost; is that the problem? I believe most of those problems were reset by simply refreshing the page. I would back out, refresh the prior page, then re-click to enter this game. Of course, if you deleted your cookies for this game, you likely did lose your rank. Between these options, is the problem solved?
Have those extra people do a myriad of other jobs. The game is easier if you rush towards a side [corner] anyways.... Seriously though, I hope you aren't only attacking / reclaiming, etc., one building at a time. There are so many jobs for the people to do. Keep the people busy, busy, busy, while also making sure you have enough guys to stand guard.
For those who don't want the Church of the Chosen Ones ending (embracing zombieism), do not allow them to write the book about the zombies in the first place (I never allow that). I have heard some say that you can let them write the book as long as you don't let them set up their church. I have no experience with this, so I don't know, but it is a possibility. I'd rather not chance it. Now you know how to avoid it in the future. So sorry if you're already doomed....
GoldenFire725, when a creature, such as a Wraith, curses one of your characters, some of that character's power will be lost, and if that character then tries to attack an enemy, they will lose some of their health, perhaps a lot of it. So until you can remove the curse, it may be best to have that character be a support character and do anything else than actually attack the enemy (e.g., heal, blind, give accuracy, or even skip a turn to build their power back up, etc.) (FYI, when cursed, attacking a Wraith doesn't cause as much health damage as attacking most others on the field.)
Since it has been awhile, and my prior comments are still at the top, I decided to let everyone know what had happened. After quite awhile of trying, I finally gave up with doing Area 14 on hard. I also, found a few other higher areas which were difficult, so spending no where near the same effort, I also played them on an easier difficulty. When I finally completed the game, I was in the number 5 top HighScore position. I was thoroughly surprised. Since I was so near the top, I decided to do a few levels over which I knew could be improved. I am currently in the number 2 spot. (With where I ended, it seems obvious that others must have had difficulties with some of those areas too, so maybe there isn't a doable placement for hard while not letting anyone through???) I will attempt a few more rounds to see if I can improve my score, but whether or not I accomplish this, I am quite happy. :)
Kevc, in regards to the Ace, it is best to keep it somewhat towards the center of the game. If you notice, when about to place it down, there is a picture of a figure 8. That is where it will travel on its original path. However, you can adjust the path a bit, if it will help. Click on the Ace and look to the lower left of the screen (below the Sell For $ area). You will currently see the middle Path (the 8) highlighted. Try adjusting to the first path, which is an eternity symbol (or a figure 8 lying down). Next try the third path, which is a circle. Now select whichever worked the best for where you placed it, and leave it on that selection. In the future, keep those Paths in mind, when placing the Ace. Good luck.
Del, if you would have read the next page, you would have found your answer. Nevertheless, to sum up, there are four main endings: discover a zombieism cure, draft a Constitution, defeat the Last Judgment Gang, and escape by helicopter. (In addition, I regard reclaiming the whole city as an ending, even if this version doesn't register it as such as did the original Rebuild.) There is also another ending of dying because of the Church of the Chosen Ones (which I never choose; I just can't consider dying by turning into a zombie, as an ending to be desired, lol.)
I feel about to give up.... I thought I had played this game years ago, elsewhere, but I have been having difficulties. I am trying to play Area 14 on hard. But I just can't get past the second round of guys without letting someone through. (And yes, I even played further on, using an easier difficulty to max out my Skills, and I still can't accomplish this.) Like all TD games, I just won't allow anyone or anything through, or I consider myself to have failed. Thus I try it again and again, but this time it just seems so pointless.... Is there anyone else, visiting these comments who has played Area 14 on hard and not allowed anyone through? If so, would you provide me with starting pointers? Thanks, in advance, for any help.
