Trying to do level 20, seems like I have to have my ghostly skull pass through the dragon 3 times but I can't figure out how to get it to pass through the dragon A- as I was writing this I figured it out, because you don't do what I was about to just say. XD made me feel dumb once I got it.
Really enjoyed the learning of mechanics without tutorials but I, like solzerid, would like to see more challenging levels as most levels were rather easy, and the majority of the difficulty I experienced was in learning the exact conditions for a mechanic (such as, for the numbers/colors, if ALL sections needed to have at least one).
Hey, just wanted to mention that there's a typo in the ending I got with red fruit, mushrooms and honey; it should say are you ready for today's date, not are you really for today's date. cool game jam game tho!
welp, I selected every single option I coud find, got all the chicken stuff, swearing stuff, auto simulation stuff, different answers to Aisleen and different questions for Crystal that I could find, but the experience till feels kinda empty. I can appreciate the emotions put into the game and I can relate to them in many ways but there was no compelling story for me and the only thing tha kept me interested in 100%ing it was my own stubbornness in not liking to leave games unfinished. I give it a 4/5 because the art was very nice and the conversation was well done for what it is, but seeing this becoming a bit of a series in your games I'd love to see more of a tangible story, like there was in Aisleen, as this felt like entirely background.
that awkward moment when you one shot the cube because you had 10 gores stacked at once to amount to a multiplier of 1024, I realize how much higher this can go, but i dont have that kind of patience. ANYWHO, love your game!
I really liked this installment, however I think the idea of having to go back and have the friend buy something for you was really unintuitive. It might have just been because I did that part like 3 days after I did the majority of it and had forgotten all about the extra items in the shop, but I ever would have thought of that and needed to use a guide to figure out what to do there - maybe in the future you should consider incorporating a system of hints.
For what it's worth, there's a note in the break room about going out the front gate to buy snacks. Of course though, the more I think about it, that's not necessarily enough information to draw a conclusion about getting a wrench. I'll have to do better with the hints in Door 3.
Id really love an expansion/ second game to this. Like if I had any money to give, i'd gladly donate to this, but I am currently playing this on a broken, 5 year old laptop on a hand-me-down tv as my monitor (because the screen is cracked to hell) so sorry developer, but here's a five star rating :p
Love this series, good style and this one kept things interesting, although next time I suggest making the character a little faster and combat be better paced, as the regular demons were a little easy, while the fireball scene was kinda insane, I myself survived through pure luck XD but I love the story in this game and the characters are so well put together. I hope you continue this story for another game or two, and keep up the good work.
The main thing I'd like out of this game is the opportunity to get more diamonds by some manner other than achievements, as I'm currently carrying a 10x multiplier without spending any gems because i have 75 and am trying to get a 32x multiplier from the shop but can't afford it nor fathom how I will afford it.
god I'd love a second of this game, I love the strategy it takes, (not a whole lot tbh but enough to make it fun) idk how "score" is calculated but really it's easy af to make a huge combo, as my entire game was like four turns, with one of them lasting aaaaaaaaaaaaages
