The biggest issue in this game is resources. Why do most/all the towns, regardless of difficulty, have the same reward and same production of resources? You can farm the Easy towns and get the same as playing the medium/hard towns. So: 1) Higher difficulty should mean more reward/income and 2) Your highest rank achieved should improve your resource production (more incentive for replaying the map)
come on guys...this is not even close to the best game on Kong. fun, cute, etc. just not even close to the quality of Mardek, Cursed Treasure, Arcuz, Sonny, or many others.
Please add a high/medium/low quality option...with tons of units on the battlefield it definitely affects performance and it's not important that everything is in high-res, especially since you're not watching the battle most of the time... +1 if you agree
The simplicity is good for introducing kids and new players to RPGs and other strategy games. For people with lots of experience in RPGs, you're much better off with something like Mardek or Arcuz.
BUG REPORT: Part 1) When I buy recipes in the store, they don't show up in my recipe book at my house. Money down the drain. Part 2) When I hover over some unknown recipes in the crafting menu with "?" icons, the recipe and name displays on the right hand side when it should be hidden. Seems to be fairly random.
Great game. A few small suggestions. Sorting items by value and type would be very helpful. Also more statistics in combat (which bonuses are being added, etc) would help give a better sense of what all these numbers mean and how they affect things. I think the entire library could be housed in hover or info buttons in other screens so you don't have to always jump back. In any event look forward to the rest of the series! 5/5
The cannons should be either more expensive or less powerful - once you get them, you just build a wall of cannons on both sides of every level and you don't have to think any more. Otherwise great mix of action and TD concepts in a side-scroll perspective! I might make the upgrades a little more creative too - the sword upgrades seem by far the most useful.
Absolutely brilliant. What could be better than a more challenging version of Worms with team upgrades? Well, maybe a multiplayer version :) If you incorporate a ninja rope and baseball bat into the weapons this will be legendary! Great work.
wow obfuscation tower is really broken! you get one ship ahead of the opponent and its game over if you are creating 4+ brown energy per turn. maybe make it only usable every 2 or 3 turns, or higher cost. loving the game so far though.
I mean the gameplay is fine but this seems like a pretty insensitive game. Sure there are plenty of killing games out there, but putting yourself in the role of a suicide bomber is taking it a little too far. I know we are all here to have fun, and I'm not trying to start a big political discussion or anything, but this just seems crass...
Keyboard controls PLEASE. The mouse control with the cursor on top and the response delay are not doing it for me. Also I think the contrast is still an issue, the background is too bright during each level. And like almost any game with auto-fire should, there should be a substantial accuracy bonus or else it is just attack spamming through the whole level. Good potential on the game play and RPG elements though - 3/5 for now but can definitely increase.
Good start, definitely like the Streets of Rage throwback style. Some comments: 1) You should definitely have to recharge the flying attack - L-spamming is way too easy 2) Get rid of the automatic walk-away after killing bosses 3) Track the dinosaurs you have freed and their characteristics 4) Add a little dialogue and other content to improve the storyline
There is a 'slow-down' effect when hitting the bumper that is counter to every other pinball game I've played (usually bumpers increase speed as soon as the ball touches them). Hitting enemies is the main other place the physics seems off - sometimes it seems to slow the ball, other times speed it up, and direction is almost totally unpredictable. Definitely needs tilt/bump controls to make it a true pinball experience. Like the RPG concept too, leveling up, etc. might give the game some staying power. Otherwise well done, just trying to give some constructive feedback :) 4/5 (for now). Good work.
Why do the save games go through your cookies/computer and not through your Kongregate account?? This is a key feature of many games on Kong and ensures you can pick up your game from multiple locations...
This issue has been resolved. Different difficulty now has different resource rewards.
