The game hangs a second or two every time it saves so while I really want to use the feature it would be more useful if I could choose a longer time between saves like 30 seconds, 1 minute, or 5 minutes so the game hangs less often, other than this I haven't experienced any slowdowns which is very nice but it doesn't make this any less annoying and detracts from an otherwise great game.
Clone pixels would actually be useful if it cloned the currency in your reserves instead, it would also give you a reason to not buy all upgrades immediately which would add some complexity to the game.
I have no idea how effective the cloning cooldown skill is and I don't think it has been discussed in the comments, I don't see any difference once I buy it but it may because its making a slow cooldown less slow. Other than this it is a rather enjoyable idle game.
Lowering volume attempts to restarts the level (Problematic when not in level), and raising skipped the level or brought me back to the first. Lower volume is mapped to F9 and raise to F10 both while holding FN key on my computer. It isn't really a problem I just restarted the page until I had the volume I wanted, and the game was quite enjoyable, just thought you might want to know.
Giving the player the premium currency then making them use it in the tutorial is a good way to make the game feel like a cash grab. You should let us back out and continue the tutorial, give it to us to use later once we have a feel for things, or just not give it to us, preferably the former as two. If you don't make it optional then at the very least don't fix the fact the refreshing ends the tutorial if you don't change this, a lot of people who don't like this will attempt to refresh and if it doesn't work they will leave.
Hey there James. This was long ago repaired, since the Double Your Money feature is free the first time. Also we are adding a Skip Tutorial button so you won't have to play it. Thanks
@NaturalReject: It doesn't necessarily need a client side save for offline mode to work however that is the way it currently works, and although they could use cloud storage it probably wouldn't be feasible for a developer of free unity games, if you were talking about saving to a personal cloud storage account then you would still need to login to your cloud account to receive your save and at that point why not just use the export function, besides there are still alot of people who dislike cloud storage and I'm pretty sure a small developer wouldn't want to alienate part of it's audience.
@omni325: they cant do that because the game needs to be saved client side for the offline mode to work, it would also make it so that you always need to be online while playing, currently once you load up the page you can go offline, just use the export function its basically the same thing.
Maybe you could add a final upgrade to lower minimum reset level but it costs loads of money, I have a ton of money and nothing to do with it once I have all the upgrades and the only other thing to do is max out my stats.
I think the level reset should be based partially on combined level across previous resets and not just doubling every time like you said it would in an update so someone who waits till lets say level 100 to reset every time will spend more money on their second reset than someone who waits till level 50 but but will only pay reset for 5 resets instead of 10 to reach 500 skill points costing less in the long term rewarding them for patience and not being as costly for someone who resets immediately cause it wont raise as much and gives them time to learn from mistakes
Amount of ore should always round down to the nearest tenth on the buttons that way if I have 0.06 it will round down to 0.0 instead of me always having 0.1.
I wish the keys were configurable I want to left click for units and press space to use my jet-pack and I'm used to the mouse scroll moving in the other direction from nearly every other game.
it annoys me so much i cant just hold c for it to go to x mode and go back to / mode when i let go, also when i put a x down it would be nice if i couldn't accidentally draw over it, thanks great game.
