So in the comments, it seems like I'm not the only one who had the game crash & then be unable to load. Here's how I fixed it for me:
1- go to where your kongregate save files are (C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects, and then some weirdly named folder like XFXTY5.. for windows 7 ppl)
2-search for "arzea." there'll be a folder with two .sol files in it
3-right click the filespp, and then select "restore previous version"
It didn't put me right where I was, but luckily it was close enough. At least I could restart from about an hour into gameplay rather than the very beginning.
