Fantastic - one glitch type thing had me stumped but i'd prefer not to put it in commetns because it would reveal an answer ;P. If you can't get an answer try grammer / phrasing and syntax... I wish this could be done with all possible correct answers...
Ranked 2 / 5 simple for presentation. Pretty - but pointless. This is not a game this is a well presented parlour trick... Oranges comment very good - introduce a way to beat it and it then becomes a game.
The lowest I have ever rated a game... sorry. But to be constructive I actually quite like the zany and strangely straight forward.. Twisted. But it needs wrong answers active... Otherwise it is not a game it is a story where you are clicking to see the next page.
This series is for those who like things along the line of AdventureQuest. Nice improvement over the series... (personally I find the lego look of the characters in navigation slightly disturbing... but there is really nothing wrong with it.) The Call for Battle button makes grinding easy for those who like to... possibly too easy. But overall this series is showing consistant improvement in design, execution and really overall. Look forward to the next one!
Graphics in the basic style of AdventureQuest/DragonFable - a little basic but get the point across. A little slow for me, but I'm not in the mood to grind today :). But if this is the first game it does seem quite promising for the ones after it! Worth a look.
Basic RPG, mouse driven menus & keyboard walk & combat.... I always wish in these games that you could customise keyboard to wasd rather than arrows so you can easily use both hands.
I played this game before the badges and card was added. I actually thought it was a good concept and well executed. The validity of complaining about the spelling of the words used depends on whether or not you believe it was purposeful. Because of the spelling this game rewards attention - slowing down the people with impressive 90wpm typing and perhaps levelling the playing field for us poor 40wpm..? I also found that one got along quite well if a you reacted quicky or b prioritised your response depending on the type of attack... Unfortunately I did not think this game had much replay value for me... Typing just isn't that appealing - lol :P
I think it does need a difficulty select too, just so the experienced puzzlers can get to a challenge without having to do an endurance run to get there.
I like the concept though and the fact that it isn't ridiculously hard for novice puzzlers must be nice.
After my first practise match I see a lot of potential for this game. It seems limited at first but in combinations, attack differences and stacking, then add items it allows for quite a large range of customisable strategy... Intercepts keep some of the power gaming down - but can be a bad strategy. My first combo was Juju's Doom (KO after time), switch Pheobe's cracking whip (20% miss for opponent) stack. Combo for the win!
First 2 times i completed was with fury... I thought it was a handicap too until i realised you are saccing range for breadth. the annoying 3 pieced fighters you can get in 1 hit. the annoying bit as fury is the "motherships"
I love the button-hunts. Inventive and original. Some of the buttons can be fun to find! Generally they are pretty easy but that is kinda why I like them - a 5 - 10 minute blast through.
Pretty easy for an escape game but the amusement made it well worth the few minutes of play time.. would love for there to be a longer harder one in this style!
Once again needing more substance - concept great and there is many directions that could be taken. But needing levels - or something along that line. (could combine the 3 short games you have for a mini challenge game)
