Overall a great game I'm having a lot of fun with. One suggestion: if you overflow your storage with wood/metal/cloth, the excess could be placed in the drop off if there's space available, rather than being wasted.
Great... after tons of grinding, I just died on day 17. It would be nice if either Ginny's requirements weren't so ridiculous, or autosave and regular save were kept separate.
Gamerking: It would make more sense in that category in my opinion, as well. That said, the game has some RPG elements, such as improving your commander with experience points and achievements, hiring heroes, and leveling up individual soldiers.
Let's face it... we've seen a billion other tower defense games. They barely ever innovate anything, and it feels like you're playing the same thing again.
That's why I like GemCraft so much- it actually brings something new to the genre. For stepping outside the mold, introducing new features and still maintaining a manageable learning curve, this game scores an easy 5/5 from me.

Fun and original game. And I know it's not the game's fault, but the badges take SO... DAMN... LONG. I earned the card and medium badge over 20 minutes ago and still nothing. Kongregate needs new servers or something.
I tried, but I just can't play this game. I absolutely hate it.
This is a huge step down from the second. An annoying announcer, ridiculously long songs I don't want to play over to fix one mistake, and the songs just don't seem as good.
Hopefully a card doesn't come out for this game... or that'll be the first one I've missed since I joined Kong. (Except for one when I was on vacation)
