Badges would be cool. Here's a few ideas i have:
(5 points) Kill a goblin
(15 points) Complete Dragon Slayer
(15 points) Complete all non-members quests
(15 points) become a member
I love this strategy (for people below Captain): Buy a scout and hide him in a tree near enemy lines. He will get a lot of kills. Then, on wave 80 (if you get there), send all your men far back and buy a bazooka. (Once using this strategy I got the scout to be my first NCO.)
