With both hands on the keyboard, having to switch to the mouse to click "retry" is unfortunate. and lvl10 has me stuck. i tried moving the rect over to light beam but it falls into the gap. fiddle me stumped.
game actually locked up after dying on level three by the big snake thing. i recollected the first star, it didn't disappear and then the game crashed. first game on kong that has ever actually crashed for me (member since 2009) so you get my 'sunken sub' badge.
couldnt get the left checknuts across the water with the fishing boat. they turn to dust at season change. i'm stumped. replay value == 0. retry? no thank you. nice music however.
the "no one matters - find yourself" suicide jump at the end was a bit of a downer. But I do think some kind of end-of-game acheivment for scaring off all the birds in the different levels would be cool.
you get 1 action point per level. you spend them to improve skills. the experience points required to level up from 1 to 2 etc.. is much less than level 25 to 26. so you rebirth as a 10 year old and get a new burst of APs. eventually you will be able to attain the 'get level 50 as a 10 year old' accomplishment because you'll have the 'skillz to pay the billz'.
needs an UNDO for that horrible moment when you accidentally place the wrong piece in the rightmost column making it impossible to clear the left most column. yep.
an outfit organizer please! i want to be able to quickly put on my 'potion clothes' do some chemistry then doff my 'murder death kill' outfit and dungeon crawl. attach it to the 'store' but yeah.. it would be nice :)
i might have rated this game higher at some point... maybe, but "having" to grind it for the yo dawg quest has made me hate it. I rate it a 1 star every 15 minutes just to remind me of the fact.
the 'X' in the upper left corner should give you a confirmation that you want to quit. i thought it was so one of my family could skip a turn. therefore i lost my win streak for nothing. kind of disappointing.
nonono, you got it all wrong developer, when someone asks 'what makes this one special' you naturally answer enthusiastically "SPIRALS!" that's it right?
the heartstone quests are too easy as a wizard. you air bonds or kill the bats on entry, effortlessly kill the boss, then get killed by the bats which slow you and you're returned to the city with prize in hand. success!
lvl 20 bunnies + high mana regen has been very effective for me. they're cheap and I can typically hold off the first few monsters with the a +8 fist mace. it's proving so effective that i basically only need wait the ~2 mins to win without a single casualty. monies spent upgrading other critters seems to have been a waste. (currently on lvl 3-11). I also notice that I'll occasionally hit a level that is just impossible unless I get a better mace or level up a few times. so the progression is at times a bit startlingly non-linear. I agree with some of the comments regarding it being a grind-fest. But I get you expect people to be playing on their phone while riding the bus. Otherwise it's a fun game. Good Job.
Not just any old spirals, MULTI-COLOURED SPIRALS!
