Like others have said: switch to 60hz refresh if you can. I had to set up an old monitor to actually play the game as intended after working on hyperspeed for the first 6 levels thinking I was playing the most sensitive game to control of all time.
This game is very buggy. Sometimes taking off an item changes the colors showing. Like the hard hat will be on with purple showing below it, take hat off, then suddenly the bottom half is black. The later levels are pretty much unplayable.
Just a heads up, once you upgrade to Windoors RJ, the game becomes effectively pointless to play. You must double your hard drive in slow, ridiculously expensive steps. Oh, and the next app gives you a whopping 3.5% increase in $/second for the high, high price of $2 Quadrillion which you must inch towards for several days at $15 billion/second. A chimp from Jupiter could have balanced this game better.
Why is it that you can upgrade things without them changing in size? I've bought more RAM capacity several times without it changing, same for CPU speed. Also, often times I earn less when clicking an application than I do by leaving them all idling. This makes no sense if it runs faster while you click an app.
Was turned off by this game immediately. I expected something else completely. You'd think that in the only computer-based idle game that clicking would be part of the game, as in it would aid your progress. I'm not sure how much work was done on perfecting the concept of this game, but it feels half-baked. Computers have limitless possibilities. Surely you could adapt some part of the computer experience to make this game a game. There needs to be at least some aspect that you PLAY here. This is all without mentioning the interface. Still, you've gotten a lot of gameplays. That means that people are seeing Computer Evolution on this site and thinking, "That sounds like an interesting game." The problem is basically everyone has expected something other than this before they followed that link. I wish you the best in making this more playable.
What exactly is the reasoning for making the upgraded kickers LESS powerful than a fully upgraded kicker from the level below? I have to spend 500000 for a kicker that has zero attributes even equal to the one I have now. This is insane.
It's hard to see how the numbers portion is helpful because it's shape matching, essentially. There has to be a speech function for that to aid in learning. You should take out the area that shows the number/letter they are looking for. Keeping it as the computer talking to the child forces the brain to make a connection rather than seeing 88 and finding it(both visual). Tinker with it.
Relies way too much on luck. I didn't notice a difference as the upgrades went up. Why is it that there are never enough ships on the screen? Either there's a powerup that wipes the slate clean and clears all the bullets before new ships spawn or you hit a powerup and the effect is minimal. I can't change or anticipate how quickly new ships come onto the screen so it's largely out of the player's hands. Because of these things, the game gets boring.
I just decided, screw it, I'll play...but I'm going to give every customer the opposite of what they want. For instance, you don't want any condiments? All you're getting is ketchup and mustard on your raw hot dog. I burned the first closer's hot dog on purpose and then stacked every ingredient about a foot high. Yeah, I like to live dangerously. BOTD, thank you very much.
