This is cracking. An original combination of elements, done wit & charm. I particularly like the "damage wheel" which introduces a strategic element that's new to me, at any rate. While there are minor niggles as noted in other posts (slowness, hard to understand upgrade system &c), I'm still going to give it five stars & a fave. This is great fun, & aside from Onimaster's comment about the mini-map (seconded, but not enough of a niggle to stop me giving it 5/5), pretty much spot on. Badges please Kongregate!
Was this done by the same people as "I Paid For That!"? It's like a better version, with a more sensible upgrade path & some resistance from the enemies. I'd like to give it five, but as other commenters have said, the ending is not really up to the rest of the game, story mode can be completed without using a lot of the skills, & having to go back to the start of survival mod every time I upgrade is a bore. Still, I have just wasted two hours of my life on it, so it has to be a lot of fun. 4/5
This is great. 5* & favourites. Excellent use of the space combat to substitute for boring old turn-based stuff in an RPG with neat writing (I don't often laugh out loud at flash games). Hooray!
