I always get a "Defeat" during the last mission in hard mode... Even if all enemies have been wiped out and none has crossed the barrier... Tried few times and I always lose...
Call in bombardment and bombers when ogres appear, and again when dark lords come. Also try to place traps and mines before next wave appear. Distract enemies at one side using teleported soldiers, and use all you spells at another.
