Ah, this has been a long-standing favourite of mine. Kudos to Jason Reinsvold. I can highly recommend taking a look at his site, lostvectors.com. Full of great stuff. I quite like the sound effects. Most games have recognisable SFX from other games, but I've never heard sounds quite like those featured in Reinsvold's work. Anyway, the game's pure gold. The different firing modes and difficulty settings all make for a game to suit players of all levels. A diverse range of shots and unit options are always fun. This really is a great game, whether you want to relax on the easier settings or go hardcore. Top stuff.

This is one of those rare games - not so difficult that we feel frustrated by the end, and certainly not so easy that we're left with no sense of accomplishment. Whatsmore, the musical score, dark storyline and emotional appeal really do make it more than a game; a work of art, I say. The most challenging part of the game is trying to pick out the flaws in it to write a comment! Very nice work.

Great game. Really enjoyed the physics and gameplay and whatnot, but I was disappointed when the game finished. There's a definite need for more levels, and a player pack would be just the ticket. I wouldn't say I agree with blackfired2, because what he said applies to most games, but I would certainly concur with 123instakill. Bchandark's comment is a little excessive and irrelevent, because most of the criticism here is simple criticism, not constructive criticism (which is what his comment relies on. I mean, really, did CoD MW2 develop from people saying "cute idea, but gets tedious fast"? I didn't think so) but the last two sentences were my favourites :P

The game is pretty complex, sure, and maybe that's not your cup of tea, but its complexity is really what makes it interesting, I think. Having to keep up with all the imports, exports, productions and needs of the cities was a bit of a drag, but once you get to know them it's easy to pick your routes. The combat system is sublime, I loved every bit of it. Damage, accuracy, reloading, running, taking cover behind my caravan - top stuff. I was just a little irked by my character's inability to ride a horse, which left my caravan's speed at a sluggish 5km/h rather than 15. Boy, that would have been nice.

Mmm, very interesting. Coincidence: I have a science project on genetics due soon, still haven't started. :D I stacked strength, defence and reproduction. It's fun watching them throw themselves at your impenetrable cells, leave themselves vulnerable and get squished. QUEDAWG_ clearly needs some lessons. Sorry mate, but this game isn't hard. And yes, Kurae, this certainly is better than Nano Wars. But which came first? Phage Wars 1 or Nano Wars? I'd like to know, but can't be bothered doing any research, but feel free to find out for yourself :P Loved the fast pace of this game, and the careful strategy involved in choosing a build and putting it together with the gene sets. Excellent game. The menu was good, too, and I liked getting my "Bonel prize" at the end... hilarious.

RRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWRRRR! Amazing roar sequence at the end. I'm surprised that Nick Sumbles (the guy who did the dino-voices) was willing to throw away his dignity for this game. It's hilarious. The game is excellent, and I was disappointed that I had won after having beaten only 1 boss monster. Sequel, please, gentlemen. Oh, and a great intro, too, by the way. Loved the whole thing. Some powerups would be nice, too.

Well, I'm not going to sit through 70 levels of this, it certainly is a bit dull, but watching all those tiny little people burn and flail their previously invisible arms around while they die gives me some kind of sick pleasure. I really liked the flaming mouse. Most cursor alterations make the cursor slow or laggy, especially animated ones, but this was incredibly smooth. The music was significantly dull also, however. That could do with a change.

A nice, simple game. AzraelUK, I beat the tic-tac-toe a different way, so as helpful as your advice is for some, it's not the only possible method. A bit of Tchaikovsky never went astray in games like this. Very nice choice of music, and I appreciate the fact that it was inspired by an Indie film. I think it's a masterpiece.

Appropriate music, wonderful gore and pyrotechnics (amazing artistic skills there!) and a nice Super twist. Oh, and repost this comment with your name at the end if you think people should stop reposting comments to the point of becoming spammers! :D -Jetfrog (JKZ, by the way)

Sure is challenging at parts, but certainly is a great game. A bit sadistic, throwing doubles of yourself around in a semi-mindless state into perilous areas, sometimes with death as a result... however, the sound effects were excellent, the animation was nothing less than I would expect from a great artist like Greg. Good music and all that, loved every bit, although the last level was a tad frustrating.

A pretty good game, fairly smooth, although having enemies spawn right on top of me as I moved around was rather bothersome. Otherwise an excellent game. No tedious time spent browsing weapons in a shop between levels (and yes, I understand some of us enjoy that, myself included for some games), plenty of power-ups, fast-paced levels packed with enemies. Oh, and that co-pilot that everyone else seems to be talking about. Have you no shame, people?

Ginotc, it's not just lvl 26 death. That "'beepbeepbeepbeep' 'WTF?!' 'BOOOOOOM!'" thing can happen on any level. It's completely random. And yes, it's hilarious :D This is a great game. And yes, Russianspy1234, the last weapon (SPOILER ALERT: it's called Duck Death, and it's not as much fun as it sounds) is pretty useless. I really enjoyed the game. Excellent stuff. 3D rendering really shows what you can do with Flash these days, amIrite chaps?

Yes! Great game! Love it! Amazing. Just a couple of problems: the best gun, it's true, does not work for distracting the guards, for some strange reason, and I received mission failure deductions without failing any missions. Fission mailed. Epic lose. Loved the rest of the game, although the scoring system pressed me a little the first time I played. CrazedZombie, you can beat the game with ANY rifle, even the starting rifle, as I did, and anyone who wants a high score would. It's quite simple. No slings, no better scopes, and you don't have to tell everyone how to play the game. They can find their own way to play. I thought this game was pwnage, and I can't wait for number 3. Whoo yeah.

Hmm... a little too olde-style for me, not enough depth to it. Just running, jump, switching, figuring out, shooting and stabbing... nice game though. I like the signposts. Can't get enough Fig Hunter. Certainly frustrating at parts, as many have pointed out. I'm sure that there have been plenty of rage quits over this game.

Ah, what a refreshing game indeed. Chill music, though I don't really like harmonica a whole lot. Most of your web will NOT "vanish" if you've built it very strong. Build a tight lattice of strings that are short, and connect with many other strings. This way, bees, and other such things that tear through your web, hit more strands, thus decreasing their chances of actually tearing anything and breaking through. Remember, everything, even the flies, weaken your web to some extent. You can tell just how much by how red the strand is. Having a tight lattice of web, and a smaller one too, also stops you from losing everything if something tears through a weak spot. Try making a very strong, thick web in just 1 corner, so that you don't have to use too much web. Less tears means less web spent on repairs. This is also good for getting the bat. For me, it missed the first 3 times, then it got caught on the 4th. It was delicious. Phenomenal game. I me.

Hmm. Yes. Shame about that apostrophe at the end there in the possessive It's (possessive, i.e I exploded its brains). Don't be fooled, kids. I know most people already are. It's rather sad. Go ahead, shout "Grammar freak" or "Grammar nerd" at me, or whatever you want. You know you want to. Great story, and the addition of multiple characters was quite good. The game did, although, lack a few of the evil comments from the game itself (talking to the player), as well as spike-walls. I miss them. I wasn't even playing when the only spike-wall in this game appeared. Preposterous! Excellent end song and levels to make you think. Couldn't really be bothered with the dull player pack, as it has no spike-walls or evil game-speech, and after finishing everything else, it's just too much. Great game anyhow.

To you people who found this game hard: you read too many manuals. Independent thought and problem solving skills seem to be diminishing in this world. See my comment for the first game for my opinion on the series, if you dare... or, if you care.
