Aaargh! Too much grinding required to earn money in early levels. Also ... why is survival mode not available for me even after completing all the regular levels?
Ridiculously laggy here, almost unplayable ... which is a shame because the first two parts played nice and smooth. I haven't even got any further than reading that first message.
Did you hit unlock all? As the in game warning says that locks badges until you reset the game. If you didn't try hitting resend stats in the options screen, it may of just been a connection issue.
And then you finally manage to get all the way to the end, complete every achievement, only "99 Done" doesn't register at all, so you are congratulated for achieving 399 of them.
And that's before we get into the fact that the author needs a calculator ... 99% of 400 = 396, 98% = 392, 97% = 388, 96% = 384, 95% = 380.
Like Inuichi "99% Done" is the only incomplete achievement ... and the game's maths is obviously off, as 99% of 400 is 396, so it should have completed 3 achievements ago.
More bugs ... deleting your saved progress resets your achievements count and time, but does not reset the actual achievements so all those you previously completed are still marked as complete in the listing on the right and the game does not allow you to do them again, making gathering the coins for them impossible.
Also, my first visit to the Pit had all bar two of the safe blocks already marked as green, but the achievements uncompleted in the list. As they were green, the achievement did not register on visiting those squares, so those are effectively undoable. They worked properly on my laptop though.
There really is so much wrong with this game it is ridiculous.
This is potentially a good game with a couple of big buts. This game lags more and more the l further you get through it, and closing and reopening the browser makes no difference. There are also some irritating bugs and one massively annoying feature that really should be told front and centre ... you cannot complete the game and then go back a complete the achievements.
On completion the ridiculously slow endgame routine runs and on restarting your last save is available ... which in my case was over 100 achievements earlier.
Sorry but I really can't be arsed to go back and re-do over 100 already achieved achievements just for the sake of completeness. If I had known I shouldn't complete the game until I had completed the achievements before I began then fair enough, but that sucks.
This is a nice game, and I have enjoyed playing it, but the lack of rain is just ridiculous. I have played and beaten every single track, bought all the updates, completed all of the achievements except one ... and not a single, solitary race, has been in the rain.
If winning a race in the rain is one of the game's achievements, you either need to make sure that rain is a fairly regular occurrence, or make the weather selectable. Right now, this is just frustratingly pointless.
Oh, that is pretty annoying isn't it. There's a 1/10 chance of rain on most tracks, so you are just being unfortunate. But yes I agree we should have made it LESS random. Sorry!
Don't know how you would solve this one, but in the middle of a match this morning, the game froze and the only way to get it back was to refresh the page. However, when it came back up and I loaded my career, it took me back to before the match I was in the middle of and before I had filled up my energy with the NRG drink. However, the can of NRG I had used before was not available to me, but I had no money for another one, so was forced to sit the game out and incur the wrath of my manager. Not good design. It either needs to reset everything or nothing, not a mix and match which affects your ability to play the game.
Just spent two hours playing this game, score a single launch of just over 4,200,000 and didn't even register it. No badge and no update of the best score shown in the Achievements section. All other badges awarded correctly. Sorry ... not good enough.
I am amazed I am still playing this game, but it is that good. In addition to play being judged over when the shot hits the post or GK (and therefore goals don't count if the ball still goes in) the other frustration is if you choose to change teams your relationships with the new boss, team and fans are dire. I guess they didn't really want to sign you after all!
I don't want to be picky or anything, but the team relationship stat really does need some work. I just played a game with 9 chances. I scored 7 goals (everything I clicked flew in for a change) and made two successful passes with my other two chances, and the team scored me -3. I guess winning a game 7-0 isn't enough to make them happy.
I am loving this game, but two major frustrations ... firstly how diabolical your teammates are when put clear on goal, and how actively the game discourages you from trying to score a goal rather than pass because the goalkeeper saving your shot significantly reduces your rating for the match and your relationship with your teammates. Other than that, great game.
This game is well put together, and very addictive, except ... the balance between salary and the cost of buying anything is way out of balance at the start of the game. If you have a decent run and get to star rating 2 relatively quickly, suddenly you can't even afford to buy an energy drink without scoring a hat trick every game. When there is no other way to gain energy, and the skills training uses so much, it makes initial progress really REALLY frustrating.
I just love the fact that your relationship with your team goes down after you single handedly beat the opposition, just because you decided to score a hat-trick rather than pass the ball to them. Team spirit triumphs over all!
Not really complaint, more an observation ... the game does not store score or achievements on leaving (I don't have that issue with any other game on Kong), so when I come back to it, I have to start all over again.
As I say, not a big issue, but there seems little fun in having achievements if you have to do the whole lot in one sitting.
Good (but not brilliant) game, and I am disappointed that the High scores don't genuinely reflect performance, just the ability/patience to grind levels over and over again to add to your points total.
OK so I am obviously missing something obvious here, but on Stage 4 I cannot get the gun to do anything other than fire backwards in an arc. I have looked at the walkthrough repeatedly and cannot even get the gun to do what it shows there. What gives?
OK, now this hidden stage thing is really hacking me off. It is almost impossible to complete the first boss without accessing the hidden sixth stage, and in spite of completing the first 5 all with 5 stars it still hasn't appeared (even though it did appear yesterday when I tried the game on another PC). I can only assume that I need to score more points.
Definitely not good game design.
