The lag problem is, I am betting, Kongregate trying to tie into a game that just doesn't quite mesh. This seems to happen everytime Kong does a multiplayer game. Somebody at Kong also needs to think about which games are given badges since a lot of players with average or poor connections or older computers will start to try and get the badge and won't be able to because of technical problems. It isn't that hard to do a stress test on a game.
Ekidna (sp?) lay eggs. And Playtupus (sp?). They are the only mammals to do so (monotremes). Get your facts straight before correcting others, Gerfuggery.
Anybody else encountering the bug that will not display "next level" button? I'm stuck on level 4 because none of the other levels are unlocking, even though I beat the first four.
Anybody know what happened to levels 4 and 6? I was just going back to replay to bulk up my XP and noticed they were missing. Is this a error or are they hidden?
I think this is one of the best "realistic physics" I have found in a game in a while. Weight works well, fiction works well, balance is good. There is a randomness to where or when the stress fracture happens, though. That's realistic, too, as nothing in the real world exists in a vaccuum. However, there are (I assume) no random outside stressors, so I am confused. 5/5 overall.
The "medium" badge is just ridiculous. It's not that it is hard to get, it just takes so long. I've gotten "hard" badges that were endurance badges that took less time. If it takes longer than the average medium badge, that makes it a hard badge. That's why there are different badge levels. If I thought this game was really addicting, I might go for it, but I don't think it is.
Hey, blankmind, 3 facts: 1) Make sure to check your spelling grammar and then you don't have to double post. 2) Lagging can be the result of extra code entered by the designer. 3) Why shouldn't people who don't like the game comment? Calling the game bad is just as good as calling it bad if the goal is to inform others.
This is one of those games that I feel like I played a million times before. I get so bored on the first twwo levels I just don't care enough to win by the third.
Won't save between any level except 1 & 2. After spending a good deal of time on this game and expecting to be able to come back to a saved game, ONLY having one level saved just really makes me angry with the game and doesn't encourage me to start again. If it isn't going to save after EVERY level, why mention it? 2/5 for either forgetting basic programming or just being a jerk.
What percentage is 4000 shapes I've been getting high 80's low 90's and still don't have that medium badge. Counter says my best was 3966 shapes, but I got that in the low 80's.
Really needs a saves function. I wouldn't mind just playing again and again if I didn't have to start over again and again. I do like the art work and story line concept. So, because button mashing is a designer advocated "strategy" and because I can't save, 3/5.
