This game is good but really easy. My first run was to floor 19, then the second run beat 80. Bearly ever used picks or pots either, just lots of regen and heal spell. Still 5/5 for effective wasting quite a bit of my time.
It should really be said somewhere that if you 'restart' a battle your items don't regenerate. Furthermore, how blind are these knights that they attack their allies with absolutely equal power as enemies?
Well, this game was getting a 5/5 going into fighting watu, but on the end turn before that I got for the first time "Your city is under attack." I expected this was a thing based on a few context clues like the Tower building, but even with tutorial on it was never mentioned.
"You don't have enough resources to defend!"
"You lose the rest of your resources"
1/5, stopped playing. Mention invasions clearly, and mention at all that they COST RES to defend against.
Knockback is reversed somehow; when you hit something it moves closer, and when you get hit your tank moves towards the impact direction. This is making 41 impossible, since when I shoot the large gunless rammer tanks they jump towards me super fast hitting without fail, (I have a lot of guns, and each one add this negative knockback.)
This is a very good game, but I have to give it only a 4/5 because on some stages you basically HAVE to restart over and over until you get the right first color. That is annoying.
Got every orb but the one from the space planet, all others where fairly easy. The space planet's puzzle won't solve for me though, I knew what to do, it was obvious, but wasn't working. I checked the walkthrough, and I was indeed doing it correctly. Its just not working at all. I've tried both x,y and even y,x in case the dev was stupid, nothing.
Why are you praising Canabalt so much? It did NOT create its genre, just look at Dino Run, uploaded a year earlier and far more advanced than it or this.
Here is a bug, I already reported it but I'm commenting so others don't freeze their game like I did. Don't over-stall, if you force the cpu into having to discard from lack of resources, then do it again on the next turn (say, thief to straight 0s, then roadblock) instead of discarding the second turn in a row, it just sits on the cpu turn forever.
