I hate this game, it is trying to be artistic and deep in its message, but its message is old news, so many other things have done a much better job in telling it, I feel the game is trying to get ratings in a really cheap way. "Oh its so sad. Peoploe can be so cruel to the unknown." yeh WE KNOW, just because you made a game saying that doesn't mean it deserves a high rating. 1/5
also, grinding for more upgrades doesn't help because it only raising the max level, there is no way to start off any stronger so no matter how much better potential guns you have every stage starts just as hard.
the targeting priority of the guns makes this game terribly difficult,they all shot the ones that just made it instead of stopping new arrivals so as soon as one makes it its gg. 1/5
I hate this game. I loved wake the box and initially this, but after you beat 25 it ERASES YOUR PROGESS! I beat the game before the badge and now I have to do EVERY STAGE over again. 1/5
@Lewiatan: Yes, the HCC is the best shoulder weapon as it can shoot through walls and up/over cliffs. It makes the last stage cake. IMO, the best compliment in normal gun is the big laser, as it instagibs small guys while the HCC recharges.
@venturesome just beat a level normally, but unequip you main weapon entirely (click the one you already have on to remove it). I recommend secure 1 with only auto aim.
I IMPLODED! I was at 62 hexes with lots of spaces, and after getting hit my a large have of food it just spazed and formed clump about a 5 wide (in normal size) of overlapping, twitching, SPINNING cells, its look cool and made my shots scatter in a nice way, but then in combat stuff just started breaking without even getting hit from the strain. It was really cool.
Btw: There are two trinkets in the first stage, both easy. There are FOUR in the second stage, 1 easy, 2 requiring skill, and 1 that is hard to even locate, and also the hardest to get to.
Huh? so many people bashing. This game is totally polished, it has great graphics in the 8-bit way its going for, and the music throughout is great. I also don't see a speed issue, its perfect for the challenge, later you need to move that speed.
aaaand the game won't load for me. and dieing repeatedly is fun. you should go look at a video of getting the veni vidi vici shiny trinket. I must have died 300 times getting that one.
I've already beaten the full verion in flip mode and gotten some gravitron trophies, its pretty good and has REALLY good music. I do dislike redoing this for a badge though.
