5 stars! What a spectacular game! More levels please! The complaints about the font seem pointless to me. Any classic/throwback/pixelated game has a similar font. That is a minimal aspect of a great game. Please focus your energies on expanding the game over aesthetic improvements. Thank you for a fun 30 minutes...I'm looking forward to spending more time (and even money if you'd like) in an expanded game. A couple things I would ask for are 1) a little more clarity on the prioritization system and 2) a little more visibility into the town (average consumption per house, satisfaction, etc. One small bug maybe: the industrial scenario started with 6 technicians, and building a technicians house did not increase that number to 10...it just stayed the same.
Super bummed that there is no Five-Leafed Clover in a game with that name. Also, I finished the first 8 tiers in about an hour, and then waited for 5 hours to get that one mutation necessary to start on Tier 9. Promptly finished Tier 9 in less than 5 min. While not as bad, the Tier 8 advancement took like 20 min.
So, essentially, there's about 45 min of gameplay with 5h20m of waiting at only two spots.
so close to being great, but ends up a 2/5. the game is fully playable until the final tier, at which point there is literally nothing you can do but wait for 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, or however long it takes to get that lucky mutation.
good concept, just a little too grindy...new maps might help. it's currently kind of one-dimensional, since the various units aren't vulnerable to particular attack types. it's certainly not too hard (i never let a single unit through). you can figure out what the icons are by looking at the upgrade descriptions, but it would be helpful to have them labeled.
Where is this "cash upgrade" that the enemies are getting? I can't get it, and when the enemies have it I just get overrun at the beginning of battles even on medium difficulty.
The only thing i would have like was a little less help...or maybe some subtler hints...when we need to write in "goat" and "tree." 5/5 stars, super fun.
@SirMustafa someone skipped through the tutorial.
1) the faster you build, the more resources you get. 2) all of the buildings supply resources at the exact rate they display in the upper right of the screen. 3) the whole point of the game is to use the SKILLS tab to identify the time and location of the disasters (which is quite feasible), and avoid them
haha. played this over several times trying all sorts of item combinations in order to be able to land on the Lost island rather than being turned away. then read through the comments to find there's nothing more to it than the initial discovery. bummer. good game overall, though.
