I like the game but half the things make no sense at all. For instance life and sand is seed. How are seeds and sand related at all?

yeah i figured that out but i cant beat the dude with the cannon....
how do i use the repeating rifle? i got it to shoot a few times but then it stopped!!!! This game sucks but it has so much potential
