Not the most graphically superior game however the gameplay does actually work, pretty good for a first game. Add a bit more depth and graphics and it could be pretty good.
I'm not really an actionscript coder but I'm not entirely sure that kind of method works in more complexly made games, then again people who make complex games can handle themselves. Helpful tutotial :)
Games not too shabby, quite easy though, perhaps have the blue life run down overtime as well as the white circles hitting you, or if it does run down, make it run down quicker :P
Actually quite a nice game, not overly original but it's pretty good. A bit of general 'polishing' is all it really needs, but then I say that abou 99.8% of the games uploaded lol
Like you say, the game itself was never going to be amazing because it's a shootorial game, however I do like a lot of the art. I would say add colour but it might ruin it.
Needs a background, maybe polish it up a bit, like add some music and a mute button for said music:P and it would be a good improvement. Other than that I can't fault the game.
Repetitive, but I like it. I'd say this is more of a foundation though, just by adding some simpler stuff like a game over screen, a mute button, that kind of general thing, you could increase the game tenfold :)
