Oh how awesome, this is twice now I've opened my game and it says "you have gained NEGATIVE gold"...so guess what...this is twice now i will of had to hard reset my save...
Alright, so version 0.09 came out earlier today, I played for a bit, then closed out. I just re-opened it with it saying while I was away I gained -337S gold or w/e...and now my total is literally at -337S...I think you might need to tweak it a little more...

Good = Gold Coins + Exp + 1 Green Coin
Nice = Gold Coins + Exp + 1 Green Coin
Great = Gold Coins + Exp + 3 Green Coins
Excellent = Gold Coins + Exp + 7 Green Coins + 1 Blue Coin
Perfect = Gold Coins + Exp + 13 Green Coins + 3 Blue Coins + 1 Button Coin used in Shop
