Overall fun, but a few issues: Drop rates are screwed up. I've run the same level over a dozen times just to get ONE piece of gear, only to have the fox with that gear drop the same (wrong) gear EVERY SINGLE TIME. Statistically speaking, even on an RNG, the variation should make that less common instead of basically an ALL THE TIME thing. And when there are less than 6 pieces left on a stage, I ALWAYS get an empty chest with the keys. Also: When one cat falls to a lower level, they all should do so or they should all respond to controls; as it is, only one set (the ones up top or the ones on bottom - whoever was in front) will actually respond. The others just keep moving forward until they fall or run into an enemy.
Final comment: The unresponsive control system was the last straw. It caused me to miss a jump, to get into fights I was trying to avoid, to fall into pits too many times. Fix it, or remove the game from Kong
1: "Empty Chest" shouldn't even be a possibility. Especially since the only reason to still be playing that level is that you have all but one or two pieces of equipment and have already opened the next one.
2: Lots of bugs, that have already been pointed out, and the drop rates are completely and utterly infuriating.
3: I wanted to like this game. But it really just pissed me off instead.
Finished 2300, 179K pop.
Buy first lv tech in 1st and 2nd age. 1, grow at .5 >. 8-12% threat.
2nd: Start w 3 RP. Max fish, then farm, then pray, then work. Grow at 10.
3rd, with 10 RP. Fish and war and grow. Fish first, pop as nec, get grow over 5K.
Max W, then P, then keep maxing P. Score > 12,000.
I stand by my earlier remarks about the amazons not being such a big deal when you're just playing through the game. But when you're going back through for Brilliant Ratings, they're a much bigger nuisance.
Ninjas? Not so bad. Just put something near the entrance to pop their invisibility immediately on entering. Amazons and other fliers? Mostly a pain if you didn't know they were coming or didn't prepare for the water routes. Engineers? I HATE ENGINEERS! Great game.
Once again, a solid entry into this series. Even though some of my favorite cards have been changed in ways that make them less useful, I think it's fun.
Much easier than the first - whether that's good or bad is up to the player. Less challenging means less rewarding to me. Just set one of your first soldiers to train up to lv 20 and give 10 int, 7 str, 3 agi and have him get all the stuff. Then give the rest of your soldiers 10 agi, 7 str, and 3 int so they can use the best rifles, second best armor (best, imo, since strongest armor makes you move sooooo slow) and two decent item mods. Bam. Game won.
It's not particularly difficult. No need to upgrade any earlier minions, either. Once you get the rhino, penguin and dragon and can effectively summon them you're good. Just get them and upgrade them. If you want to be a completionist, you can upgrade the earlier minions later.
Ok, I've tried to find the hidden perks - increased size of the window, zoomed in on the game - can't find them. WHERE exactly are the buttons for them located?
Do you use firefox 47 and did you enable the unity webplayer? With the newest version of Firefox, you need to manuable enable unity.
