Not a bad game idea, but extremely repetitive with slow progress, and an obnoxious, almost game-breaking bug that happens multiple times per level where the movement controls stop responding and force you into a corner. Sometimes you recover, sometimes you don't.
two stars for a decent concept.
Fantastic game overall! I love the open-world sandbox, where you can build stuff on your own. Here are some suggestions, though
1: The rocket launcher needs to be FAR more powerful. One direct hit from a rocket will barely KO any monster, not to mention if you don't hit head on.
2: There need to be more types of monsters in the main areas, including a few stronger ones that take more than 2 shots with the stronger handgun. Maybe make the "Elephant" monsters that appear near the beginning continue to spawn throughout the game.
3: There needs to be more of a reward from the arena. Right now the only effective way to get money is to chop trees and sell the wood, which is absolutely tedious.
First of all, great game! I love the variety of weapons and ships. I don't mind how a lot of things cost Flux because the login bonus gives you a little bit each day, so you can just save up. The only thing I would change is the Warp Path costs to a couple of systems; they just seem really high for how hard it is to get the rarer resources.
