Looked like just the sort of game I like; arcade action with upgrades. Got stupidly grindy very fast. Still gave it 4 stars, though I doubt I'll ever bother finishing it. Maybe with an upgrade that lets you start further along, or skipping the early game repetitions.
Pretty, and clever, but the pixel hunt got way annoying. As an example, I couldn't tell which drawer I was opening on the ship, top or middle, even AFTER i realized they were different drawers. All in all, solid, but it lacks polish. Nice effort for a free flash game!
Seems way more grindy than necessary. Fun for the first hour, but too monotonous to hold interest past there, and still WAY too much game to go, apparently.
Weird glitch: A chest popped up (from a Skel Archer Boss) right on top of the box for my weapon... This made me drop the weapon, and, since the chest is off screen, i can't get it. Nice ring, too...My weapon was still shown in my hand, but ALSO on the floor where i was standing when the boss died. When I went to another room, I had my weapon back. Weird!
Aw geeze... Fighting last boss, game freezes. When I reload, back at level 12 with the last three hours of upgrades gone! Forget this game, you can keep the last achievement.
Closing and reopening the tab after every run seems to help the lag issue. Just can't go for more than a thousand or so miles in one run, or the lag comes back.
Interesting note about the lag: When I right-click to bring up the menu, the lag goes WAY down. As soon as I close the menu, lag is back. Anybody else get this effect?
Would REALLY like it if you could tell the ally cars to keep firing at ground enemies. When i go to grab an upgrade and they ALL fire at it, my kitten gets sad.
I think that I REALLY hate the spins. Knowing that the verticals are off-beats, when the map spins them to horizontal, I can't quite get them. So frustrating, and not really in the good way the rest is. Love the speed changes!!!
