2,515,141 on my second try, I wish I knew if that was good or not :/. The trick is to make sure you never grab a red, and grab all the yellows and purples. Grabbing the other shapes helps but don't be afraid to let a lot of them go if you're worried you might accidentally pick up a red in the process. Each red one cuts your multiplier in half so your score is affected by how many reds you get way more than it is affected by anything else.
I got to the second level, which is one of those mouse-maze-don't-touch-the-walls things, but there's an invisible wall that keeps you from going anywhere, I cheated with a right click but notheing happens when you get to the end >:( This is clearly the greatest game ever made. The best part was the music and sound effects.
kilreff45, you're supposed to make a machine that will work for any possible code the game can possibly give you, the game tests hundreds of possible codes but it doesn't show all of them to you because that would take forever. If you get one wrong, it will show you one that fails, if you make a machine that works for every code, it will just show you one or two of the successes.
oh my god, I completed every level including the extra ones, THEN I read the comments and found out I could bridge conveyor belts, that would have made everything so much easier. Oh well, I guess now I have extra bragging rights for doing everything the hard way.
I thought Marsh was only alive because he was struck by lightning? Why does he have a marshmallow family that's all humanoid? Were they struck by lightning too? I'm sorry but that gaping plothole completely ruins the gaming experience, casual video game plotlines are serious business, and what about conquering the human race, Marsh brought it up but never did it, is this all going to be explained in the sequel?
kralgar, there are seven spells and you find them hidden in the regular chests, even though they're not in artifact chests you get to keep them if you use the escape wings.
zelord, you can recover health with the heal spells (the only worthwhile spells) or with potions you buy from the shop (and sometimes find in chests), for the most part potions and ethers are the only worthwhile things to buy (except in the shop on the 99th floor, which has some really good equipment) because you can find equipment in the chests and you'll usually get multiple copies if you open all the chests, sell the useless stuff you're not wearing and buy potions.
The trick to level 8 is that you shouldn't produce any toxin until you have enough fatty acid, otherwise the alligator's (crocodile's?) immune system will fail and the viruses will swamp you, just keep roaming around and collecting glucose, the waves are easy enough you don't need to worry about them too much, then when you have 50 fatty acids (and enough of the other resources, but those are produced enough on their own) just keep clicking on the toxin button until you run out then try to survive until you get puked out.
