I thought the canyon of crushed dreams or whatevever it's called was the hardest level by far, I just found a good time to jump to the other side near the bottom then jumped like mad praying a bullet wouldn't hit me. All the other levels it was possible for me to figure out a plan of action and then execute it, even all the levels after it were pretty easy to figure out the timing, once you've done that it's just a matter of keeping a cool head and being patient. Did anyone figure out a plan for the canyon that doesn't involve blind luck?
Weird, if I try to play again after beating the game it puts me on "level 17" out of sixteen, which is just a big blank space. If I finish that it shows me the ending again. Is that intentional or a programming bug?
Even though I'm probably out of the target audience, I love this game. I keep coming back to redo the levels after it's been long enough for me to forget the solutions. Also, I just love the background music in Numerator Nebula. Educational games should not have music that good! Definitely 5/5 for me.
I can't figure out how to get past level 7. I tried clicking a couple centimeters left of the button, I tried right clicking the button, and I tried putting the mouse on my head like a hat, but nothing works.
I don't understand why escaping the island is the victory condition. Obviously the best possible ending is the one where you're Abraham Lincoln and you buy a giant carrot. Giant Carrot > Any other possibility.
Once upon a time little girl grew up to be an evil sorceress, she held purple shirt dude hostage but green shirt dude killed her, then the two dudes were gay dudes together.
OneShadow, if I'd designed the game, I would have put some kind of switch or item on each planet that you use to make something happen, then you would use the last energy orb to get one of the dream ball things, that way you have one use of an energy orb that has to come after all the planets so you make use of every item.
Actually, Shaun can jump higher than either Shirley or Timmy, also he's versatile cause he can push a lot of things and isn't too fat to fit through most places. Plus some puzzles just require all three sheep, even if only to use Shaun as a stool or stepping stone. So yeah, Shaun is pretty necessary.
For those who don't know, the trick is use the monsters at the beginning to get the most essential basic upgrades, then rainbow-puke your way to victory (Don't bother focusing on the eyes until you've got enough upgrades, focus on the tentacles and the brain).
The idea to make the arrow keys control the thing that needs the most attention on the left and to make WASD control a screen on the right was pure evil.
There are three cheats I know of: c to cut your hair, x to grow it, and k to kill every enemy from the screen (even if it's the boss...)
I like how you can walk down to where the knight outside the tower is but you have to climb up, go back inside the tower, and kill the witch so he can "rescue" you.
Level 24 is virtually impossible, and playing it is a remarkably similar experience to hitting yourself in the head repeatedly with a rock, but it was worth it to get to the last level, which is made of pure awesomesauce.
I don't get the win condition, it's not enough to get the number of blocks, you need the sprite to be in the right spot, too. Usually I can guess where that spot is, but I'm at one level where I have no idea what the win condition is. The tutorial should explain this better.
Do the wheel on the wall and the hatch on the floor lead to some kind of secret, or are they just red herrings? Because I finished the game without figuring out how to do anything with them.
Good point... the game saves progress, so to start again, click the "Clear Saved Data" button when the game loads.
