This is the first battleship style game I've played in years that I actually enjoy. The upgrades and options remind me a bit of the old "fleet command" from gameboy, but this is much better! I'll actually give this a 4/5, the colour scheme and the warning shot is a really unique idea for the platform and a first that I've seen. Very well done!
Seems to be working a bit better. One thing is screwing with me though. The position of the planet and the sun in the back ground. They dont seem to move or change. I know this is really weird, but it is screwing with me a bit lol, I think because of the unchanging back ground I lose movement tracking and I get bored or annoyed. Again, I realize this is petty, and cosmetic, but please change this! Played for a little bit, looks much better.
Where is the original version? I'd like to try out full screen
http://clay.io/game/korelos for the full-screen version. The sun doesn't move at all, since it's meant to be so far away. The planets should move slowly across it though, the nearer they are to you, the faster they should move.
Bugs, and the station bit. Please work on this, I was really excited on reading the description, I love trading fighting games. Look forward to a cleaned up version (no rating due to bugs)
I will, it's all working fine on mine, but it seems to have some problems on Kongregate. I don't know why the ads are showing but I guess they're messing something up. I can't find any bugs right now, what's happening?
I finally beat the game!! The lag on my old computer meant I could never really shoot well in the higher levels, and I hadn't played this in years. Tip for folks still trying, don't get every weapon. What worked for me was shotgun, machine gun, sniper, then skip to the last two weapons. Saves money and is more efficient. Hope that helps
Just.... I think I've seen boots who hold their rifles less steadily. I mean if your even halfway trained you have your sling wrapped to reduce wavering. Bipod and prone position there should be very little of that. What is this guy "sniping" offhand? Sorry... just pisses me off about most sniper platform games
Decent, the zoom in/out feature is nice. Speed up button would help and different terrain features would be nice. I like the mix of towers, and this is a pretty nice game overall. I'm nit-picky on my TDs but I'm still going to give this a 4/5. Look forward to seeing the sequal!
This is not a bad game at all. A little simple, and a bit repetitive but besides that it is a solid concept. What elevates it over some other shooters is largely the snipe/open shoot/covered positions, and the lookabout terrain. The grinding for materials can get tedious, but you don't run into the stupid no ammo problems that tend to plague these shooters, having said that you cannot win by spray and pray tactics.
The other critique is a bug I ran into on an upper level which freezes the zoom to cover controls. I'm not sure if having another app open at the same time did this, or an in-game glitch did this.
Oh and the head shot to kill is excellent, however there seem to be some (slight) aiming glitches, nothing critical however. The last semi-critique is this, 8 7.62x39 rounds will put someone down. Doesn't matter if the have body armour or not lol
4/5
Not bad, needs a lot of polishing, and quite a few bugs in it. Not to difficult either. On the other hand, it is a neat start and could really be a fun game when polished up 3/5
Great game, a little slow for me and the resource thing is kinda hard to work with at first, but I enjoy it. Has a master of orion/spaceward ho feel to it!
thanx man, i do plan on adding a skirmish mode for quick, instant conflict style games. and moo was my biggest inspiration for this project. i couldn't believe no one made a mini moo clone in flash yet, so i thought i would try.
Something I feel is lacking in this (and a few other rts space commands) the ability to zoom out so you dont have to follow a little map. Not to bad, feels like it's been done before, but nice job
I have an additional comment to make; I have been replaying this game (and enjoying it as always), but while playing I have noticed that the "bad" events seem to have increased drastically from previous games. It has proven to be a little more frustrating than usual. I think a good update would either be a) reducing by about 10-20% the bad events, b)creating good events (maybe refugees showing up with 100 DM or the such).
Also, at least during this game, the events seem to be a bit harder than my current ability. I have been scrambling to stay on top, and while I enjoy the challenge, even I have been a little frustrated. I would hazard an opinion that someone who has not played the game as much as I have would find it far to challenging. Eg. Three armadas and a extreme astroid field event back to back. I must admit to having to reload my game a few times.
