Neat idea. I think full screen capability would help, and either a little more simplistic or a better strategy guide. Not a good game to try and take up after a few beers!
If you back click or close the screen before the end of the game, it does not record the game and you replay it. I only do this when my idiot AIs screw up badly or the computer changes reality (like the impossible balls stops, the rebounds that go right through you and the angle changes from corner shots)
Okay, I'll be honest, there is not alot to this game; and yet there is. I cannot for the life of me figure out why I like this game, it is simplistic, kind of laggy at points and unimaginitive.
On the other hand, I've enjoyed playing it for about an hour now....
Either a) there is something subliminally challenging about the game, or b) something else is subliminal and it is slowly taking me over.
Anyways, just give it a try, and if you end up with some weird addiction because of my playing suggestion, sorry
Has anyone actually gotten the "finest hour" medal yet? I've played likely over 500 games and have never had a wave of over 20 bombers ever show up. If anyone happens to know how to set the conditions up please share
Took a moment to warm up to it, then I got into it. Nice concept, and if you are a grinder fan (and I am) it is fun without becoming to repetitive. Nice work, not to complicated
Okay so over 100 wins in a row using the methods I posted. A few close ones, but no more than 4. Please plus these two so frustrated folks can occasionally win some
Wow... 6 hours to beat. Almost as hard as Contra was
Only thing I'll say is that the upgrades (IMO) do not go far enough. Without upgrading the artifacts, I think they could go a bit farther, the end of the game was a bit tedious and took away from the joy of earlier game play. Maybe add missiles and some player fired weapon? I mean great job, don't get me wrong but just a little long at the end.
Truly excellent game! One of the best climb shooters I can remember playing! The speed system is excellent (did confuse me for a moment, cause I'm dumb and didn't read instructions) and I love the upgrade settings. Well done 5/5!
161281 as Blue, hard, 36 turns. No "enemy units turning into naval units" either. Honestly the comp made some tactical mistakes, but still... Cannot believe I pulled that off.
*Sorry correction, was as blue not green*
161281 as Green, hard, 36 turns. No "enemy units turning into naval units" either. Honestly the comp made some tactical mistakes, but still... Cannot believe I pulled that off.
Actually there is a secret to winning about 100% of the time. First, overbuild spitfires, overstock metal. Second, do not try and defend everything all the time. Rebuild. Don't use fire chiefs. By picking and choosing your fights, you can stock up on man power.
Between here and armor games (played on both, just in case there was a difference) I have ended 15/15 with about 100 spare spits, usually 50-70 pilots, and 100% cities. You have to play around with it a little, and it does increase the time of the game. Oh and get your spies up, picking and choosing what gets through and what you stop is part of the strategy.
Plus this so frustrated players can win a few please
Thanks - there's a new, fixed version right now - hope you'll have some time to try it again:)
