Nvm, just found it. To get the second ending, go directly to the Engine Computer and type the password. Instead of clicking confirm, head back to the teleporter at the beginning of the game. This time, you can leave and there will be a short cutscene at the end.

Could you change the key to sell? On a mac, crtl+click is equivalent to a right click, so it is impossible to sell.
