If the game isn't giving you the hard badge, make sure to sit through the entire credits sequence after defeating Death. If you refresh or leave the page, it doesn't seem to award.
I would love to rate this higher than a 3/5, but it got a bit repetitive. I was getting bored by the time I got the first new map. Also, it would be nice if we could click an enemy to have our forces target that one specific creature instead of leaving it up to luck.
Question: why can the Druid craft expensive Herb Bundles, but not simple Healing Herbs? After a while it starts to feel ridiculous. Is there any way you could let workers make low-level items in their specialty (so Druids make Healing Herbs, etc.)?
OK, this might sound stupid, but could we get an overhaul on supermarket drops? I went to a Large Supermarket and came back with 70 wood, 30 cloth, 70 metal, 50 food, and 180 water. I got more wood and metal than food. AT A SUPERMARKET. Water turns up in warehouses a lot, so my water stores are almost always full, but my guys are generally hovering around 5 days of food at the most. :/ Supermarkets are basically a waste of a mission right now.
Am I the only one who sees the pixies and thinks of Mew?
But really, great job. I usually play daily badge games just for the spare points, but this actually made me want to finish.
We can assign survivors to clear up debris. What if we had the option to assign them to a building project? It doesn't have to be a huge boost; even a 5% time reduction per survivor would help. (Especially on things that take over a day, like the later workbench upgrades!)
This game is great, but is there any way you could soften that big "WUAAAAAAAAA" sound when you get a complete map or solve a puzzle? I have the game volume turned way down but it's still deafening!
You know what would be great for this game? Mouse controls. Arrow keys feel really imprecise, and the way the game tilts leaves me feeling like I'm not going the same distance with each tap.
Interesting game, but it would be nice to have a little minigame diversity. It gets a little repetitive with the "Catch X, but don't catch Y" diversions.
My only issue is that I lose money when the COPS are the ones to smash a civilian car.
"Sir, we just totaled an innocent's car!"
"Eh, charge the criminals for it. They have enough cash."
So... tell me again how I can zilch two turns in a row with four dice left each time, but the computer can roll three pairs three times in a row before it banks.
The fact that the red cars shove back bothers me. I can understand wanting to avoid the purple cars since they can throw you into a wall, but having the red cars (that we're supposed to hit!) do the same is more like a punishment.
You're 100% right, and I hope people like the new games in Week Three!
