Really, really, REALLY annoying controls!! So many times, when I try to use the spacebar and arrows to switch droids, I end up sending a droid to its death instead, or ruining a puzzle. It would have been preferable to use number keys instead.
So, after all that clicking and waiting, nothing??!?? Just "Max" on all categories, no fanfare, no message, nothing to mark that there is nothing more I can do? How very disappointing.
Sorry must have glitched, the three trees are supposed to come to life and do battle with chainsaws, while ninjas (you don't see them anyway though, because they are ninjas) jump all over the place. This is a lie.
How should it end? This is something I would really like to have a good fix on before getting too far into developing a sequel, because you are right, there should be some sort of reward for maxing everything. The best idea I had was to give the player control over the palette used to draw the trees at that stage along with a pat on the back message, but never implemented it.
OK, so yeah, game's pretty awesome, but it's not like you guys made this, is it? At the very least, all the graphics are lifted straight out of Trackmania, which is blatant theft last I checked.
Can we please fire the bloody useless blacksmith???? I've spent BILLIONS of dollars increasing his skills, and he managed to create ONE usable pick out of over 200 gems????? What the FRACK, dude!!??! That level of incompetence is astronomical!!
Also, what the hell am I doing here, clicking on badly drawn rocks???
Some motivation beyond basic survival would have been nice. And please, the monster need SOUND. Or some hint that they're coming, instead of just, you know, all of a sudden you're attacked from behind, and when you turn around, there's a huge frikkin' scorpion-thing were there was nothing second ago, and that HUGE thing snuck up on you without a sound??? Also, a map function would have been great.
Beyond that, good atmosphere, nice graphics, especially indoors, and slightly creepy.
Oh god, the music! The horrible, HORRIBLE music!!!
Oh wait, there's a mute button!
Seriously, though, what's with the music? The same terrible tune as in the first one. It takes about ten seconds before it starts to grate on the nerves.
A nice little game, but I probably never would have figured out how to beat it without the comments. I would have kept on running and running... ;) Oh, and I just love how everything flows on my screen after having played for a while! (Yes, that was sarcasm... Now excuse me while I go throw up.) ;)
There's either something wrong with the lack of instructions, or the game is buggy as hell. Either way, it's incredibly boring. There are far better remakes out there that deserves a chance in the spotlight, why give this buggy game a badge?
