@Chauchau, Those are just a joke. It is impossible to get those two weapons from the Godcats and even if you hacked them in it wouldn't work because they haven't actually been coded into the game (just their icons).
Kupo, sorry to be the anal one, but the protector still drops chocolate instead of donuts. Mammoth drops ham and beef (has he been eating pigs and cows!?!) and Sand worm drops sushi and honeycomb as expected.
Thank you Kupo, I was the one who mentioned the chocolate oversight before. It is alright, we all make mistakes. I am somewhat sad that I won't be able to get those doughnuts, but so long as it gets fixed I am glad.
Okay seriously Kupo, I think this is a mistake. I just completed the boss rush and the treasure chest contained 2 cakes and 2 chocolates. Chocolates DO NOT increase magic defense!!! They only did in EBF3, donuts increase magic defence in this one. Please if you have time, correct this.
Whoops. I think someone mentioned this earlier, but I didn't believe that I could have made such a silly mistake. I'll fix this in the next update. (too late for you guys though)
Also if my previous comment is the case, would there be any way of retroactively adding the donuts into player inventory. It would be very helpful for some of these battles :).
I don't know if this is a glitch or something overlooked, but many of the new treasure chests (especially on Battle Mountain) have Chocolate when I think you meant to add Donuts. Chocolate increased Magic Defense last game and when I open up all the chests on the top of the mountain it is weird to get every stat increasing item except for donuts and to get chocolate instead.
Another glitch found for you Kupo:
During the Rainbow Rafflesia fight, if one of the rainblooms suicide themselves and are revived soon after they will appear in the top left corner of the screen. Even if they are killed and revived they will continue to spawn in that corner. Other than the graphical glitch they still function normally so this one isn't such a big deal.
Okay I have a large list of bugs so here goes:
1. When I entered the battle mountain the enemies levels were 48 compared to my 43. I noticed that after I gained a level that the enemies levels are still 48 (they don't scale properly).
2.When I decapitated the Zombie Hydra, their evasion Decreased instead of Increased (to a measly 7).
3. Diamond Golem was able to use it's Genesis ability even after I syphoned it.
4. Both the Sand Worm and the Zombie Hydra were available for me to defeat, but the Protector is nowhere to be found in the Temple of the GodCat (I am on New Game Plus from before the expansion.
Finally I just wanted to say that the fights with the upgraded (and 5 levels higher) bosses were the most epic and difficult fights I have ever had in my life. Kudos to you Matt! I won't ever forget them!
1. Confirmed. The enemies should be at the same level as you.
2. Confirmed. The logic is wrong. Whoops.
3. Confirmed. The Golem should have 100% resistance to syphon.
I'll fix these soon.
@Noobin8er The one advantage that last equipment has over start equipment is that they reapply the buffs every time you hit critical health. In a battle (like the one with Koohii) this could wind up meaning over a dozen times rather than just once with the start armor.
It is abundantly clear that this game has received much love and care from its creator. Kudos to you sir. One suggestion that I have would be to expand alchemy to include the ability to create rare items: amulet II + Boots II + Gauntlets II = Circlet I, or 10 Amethysts + 10 Aquamarines = 1 Sapphire. This would allow gamers who are unusually unlucky to obtain rare items through a method that does not depend on RNG. Once again, thank you for this wonderful game!
I think there should be an option to disable all animations inside of battles. This would decrease the lag that so many people experience due to magic attacks and would significantly speed up the fighting process.
The final level on the alien campaign is impossible. The raze soldier has about 4-5x normal health, spawns with a rocket launcher, has ten lives and there is a time limit of 4 minutes. He also has the shield ability which wastes even more time. You are outnumbered and your allies aren't of much use. Please, at the very least remove the time limit so that we can actually try to defeat that mission.
For everyone trying for the hard badge. $1000 - sugar rocket, umbrella, fuel, and waste the rest. For the $5000 budget get the parachute, pulse jet and dump all the rest of your money into fuel. $25000 - Thor ramjet, max fuel, ultralight trike, ramp upgrades, and a plank. Good Luck!
The priestess in the air temple won't accept the romance novel. All she does is comment on the other royal knights there and so I can't get the cake. Am I doing something wrong?
Whoops. I think someone mentioned this earlier, but I didn't believe that I could have made such a silly mistake. I'll fix this in the next update. (too late for you guys though)
