The combat felt FAR too easy after a few simple upgrades. Mid-late game I couldn't get hit unless I really tried. I highly recommend making combat an actual challenge. Other than that, the game was great.
Future staff suggestions:
Earth Staff: Rock spikes burst from the ground and impale the enemy for piercing damage. There are melee weps that do elements so why not staffs that do physical.
Hailstorm staff: summons hailstones from the sky to strike the enemy with both ice and blunt damage. Multi-damage-type staffs would be interesting.
Death staff: has long casting time but instantly kills enemy unit. A staff that kills enemies with out flashy and apparent cause of death would be VERY interesting but good luck balancing it against tank armies, maybe make it so it doesn't work agaisnt popular tanking creatures (such as demons)?
I know this is a very minor detail, but I don't understand why talking in world chat gives devotion points. People usually just type a period (.) , so I think the devotion point goals should all be lowered by 5 and world chat not give devotion points.
